My daughter has been attending Samurai Karate Academy for the last few months and I am nothing but pleased. The instructors are all engaging and work well with the younger kids. Young students get lots of personal attention.
Shihan Ian Harris is amazing and obviously truly cares for his students.
I am extremely glad a friend of mine talked me in to trying it out!
Finances are very tight but this is money well spent at $ 75/​month (for kids). They do not do contracts but you will want to stay.

This Kyokushinkai dojo is the real thing. Sensei Harris is one of the few masters left that studied with Mas Oyama himself, the founder of Kyokushin karate. Give it a try if you want to experience the kind of training that that made Kyokushin karate the most respected full contact karate in world. The training is demanding but always tailored to the individual so anyone willing to follow instructions and work hard is sure to gain top level ability and confidence.
