Mike’s Lunch

If you are in the area and need to get something to eat right away at this restaurant/​diner, then get breakfast. We stopped in and sat ourselves at on of the booths. The menu is posted above the grills, don’t expect to get a menu. We ordered the following items.
Chopped Steak (hamburger patties) with fries, gravy and apple sauce (single serve cup)
Two eggs over easy with bacon, home fries, and toast.
The place wasn’t that clean and neither was the cook behind the counter, but I was really hungry and this was the only place open at the time. The interior looks like it is 1950’s era and that it hasn’t been very well kept. We received our meals and were immediately put off by the flavor of the chopped steak, fries and gravy. It went to the side of the table and we shared the breakfast. The apple sauce came in its own pre-​packaged container and so was safe.
The eggs and bacon were a little over done for my taste, but I didn’t feel the need to send them back. The home fries were underseasoned and overcooked. Between the two of us, we finished all of the breakfast. I will try not to return.
