Evelyn’s Alteration & Design

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Evelyn. I waited until about a month before my wedding to make an appointment, so she was actually all booked, but she managed to work me in (on a Sunday) and quickly figured out what I needed to make my dress fit perfectly. She agreed to have my alterations completed by Tuesday at 11 AM, but she ended up calling me the next day and my dress was completely finished just 24 hours after I dropped it off. Her work was impeccable and I am so pleased with my dress. She even gave me advice on how to make a slight adjustment if I should happen to shed a few more lbs before the big day. The wedding is just three weeks away and I’m ready to go! I would DEFINITELY recommend Evelyn to any bride-​to-​be.

I purchased a wedding dress from another bride and needed the dress to be taken in. I was told about some shops, but after reading bad review after another, no shop appealed to me. I found a blog on Evelyn, and thought, hey let’s take a chance.
I went to meet her earlier this year with my mom and my dress in hand. She was able to quickly know what needed to be done. I asked to have another fitting when I returned for my shower this weekend when I would have a couple other family members in town to see the dress.
Saturday I went to try on the dress, and it fit perfectly! I am so excited that everything looked fabulous and I will get to wear such a beautiful dress on my big day!
Her customer service is amazing as well. She was willing to show my sister how to lace a corset back dress and what to do on my big day with no problem. She also gave us suggestions with purchasing a steamer in order to steam some of the wrinkles as it gets closer to the wedding. Any questions any of us had, she had an answer with no problem.
Do not hesitate to travel downtown to Evelyn for your alterations. Her prices are very reasonable as well.
