I purchased a used refrigerator from Omar off of craigslist and same as others he said it had a warranty. Payment is to be made with cash only he said. He first stole from me as I wasn’t here for the delivery in the beginning as he took the frog he was replacing that I was going to put in the garage for a spare. He then said wait 48 hours for trig to cool before you put food in it. Why I ask then he said it takes time to cool. I have had nothing but problems with the frog since. I had to file several police re[ports for his conduct and threats etc which I would be happy to share with anyone. Then for some strange reason I had all 4 tires to both our vehicles slashed a week later which there was a witness and the person is being investigated. Updates will come later. THE TRUTH WILL COME OUT WHO DID THIS AND THEN I WILL POST THAT AS WELL. I CAN TELL YOU I HAVE NO ENIMES FROM ANYONE THAT MIGHT HAVE DONE THIS.

We purchase a used/“refurbished” Samsung refrigerator from Omar. He said he would warranty it for 30 days. We paid almost $ 900 even though it had multiple «dings» in the front doors. The ice maker stopped working in the first week we owned it. We left many, many messages for him about it before he finally called back. He did stop by and look at it, spoke vaguely about what might be wrong, but did not admit until some time later, while we had all the while chased him w/​multiple calls, that he really did not know how to repair it/​what it needed. I suspect he simply didn’t want to pay for a new ice maker, which we ended up shelling out $ 445 for — –to a repair service completely unrelated to Omar. We would’ve been far better off buying a new one. THIS MAN IS NOT HONEST. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HIM. HE WILL NOT FOLLOW UP WITH «WARRANTY».

DO NOT PURCHASE any appliances from Omar. He posts ads selling appliances with free delivery and a 60 day warranty. It was advertised as a counter-​depth, but it is not… sticks out about 6 more inches and is not the 69 inches tall he advertised… more like 66. When he delivered the appliance it was very dirty, and the receipt shows a $ 50 delivery charge! He banged up both my front and back doorways. He left without connecting the water line for the ice and water dispenser. He stated he would be back the next day with the correct part and connect it.
Next day, no show. After several days I ended up connecting the water line myself. After connecting the fridge leaked from underneath. I called to have it looked at and repaired, and he referred me to another guy who works for him part time. The guy promised to come Tuesday at 8pm, but never showed up. Now they are both ignoring my calls and texts.
UPDATE:
Omar told me that he told his assistant not to come to repair the fridge «under warranty», because I called too many times and he felt I just wanted something for free. I told him that I would write reviews and he responded, «Go ahead, you’re not the only puppy in the pound!» He also told me that the only thing under warranty was the refrigerator, not the ice maker or water supply, so he wasn’t obligated to connect the water line anyway!
UPDATE:
A few months after my original transaction, Omar called and asked me to remove my reviews from Unilocal,Craigslist, and several other review sites because it was hurting his business. He told me he got out of the appliance sales business. I told him I wouldn’t remove the reviews because I had to pay over $ 100 to repair a fridge that he sold me only a day before.
