I still can’t believe how badly my hair was cut and how long it will take for it to grow to a length where it can even be repaired. I came in with long hair — wanting short hair — not a boy cut, but about 3 inches long all around so I could play with my natural curl/​wave. I even set aside curl enhancing product at the counter for when I checked out. I brought in a photograph on my cell of the hair cut that was short — but about 3 – 4 inches in length so you could play with it. Lauren specifically asked me if I want it long in the back like the front (3″) or «short like a man’s» and I was taken aback because there was nothing shaved or short like that in the photo — and I said «No! Absolutely not short like a man’s — longer like in the picture.). My hair now is about ½ inch everywhere except on the top where I look like a skinhead with bangs. When I asked Lauren why she had butchered my hair that short when she ASKED me if I wanted that and I said „no,“ her response was „that is the way it is in the picture.“ The picture does not show the back at all, and NOWHERE in that picture is there a strand of hair less than 3 – 4 inches. She ruined my hair, my day and months to come while I suffer just to get the hair to grow enough to be re-​cut. And one side of my bangs is a good ½» longer than the other. Honestly, I am over 50 and this is the worst haircut I have ever had in my life.

Great hair cut! The Stylist’s name was Breann. She does a great job! Especially if you have long hair. I’m always nervous about scissor happy stylists. She isn’t! I certainly recommend her!

This is the only salon that I will go to. The owner maintains a very upscale, professional salon environment. They have a great selection of products. I highly recommend this salon, the staff is always very friendly and willing to help you find what you are looking for.

Cleo’s is a little Salon set inside the Mt. Shasta mall. I found it by mistake. Walking around aimlessly looking for anywhere in Redding that does threading. When I walked in I saw this gal with the cutest do. Curious I had to inquire– where did you get your hair done. She pointed to the back (where the salon is) and said JESSICA. I ripped off her cut after chatting with her for some minutes. Super friendly and inviting.
The store was clean, and the staff was welcoming. I made an appt for about 2 hours later. They offered to call and remind me (how sweet). I showed up on time, and waited for Jessica to finish with her previous client. She greeted me and she was professional (hard to find these days). Told her the sad story about the bad haircut I had. She said it was her goal to have me leave smiling.
I smiled on the way out the door. YAY! My hair is nice, and I got what I wanted. Price wasn’t too bad. $ 21.00 I paid and then a tip of course.
I think I’ve found my hair stylist.
