I went to Aurora Quick Care last week for a blood pressure check to see if my at home BP cuff was accurate. I had my insurance cards in my hand. And, I AM A ST. LUKES PATIENT. After all, this service is advertised in their ad on the internet, when you get there it is advertised on their huge sign over their desk. The nurse who came up to me said they no longer will take blood pressure checks because of liability. After asking her to check with her manager she said the same thing.
What kind of nonsense is this? What genius thought this one up? Maybe it’s just an intelligence test to see how fast you can give Walgreens or CVS your business?
