Shanahan’s Coffee House

Great cute little spot with great coffee. Convenient to the highway and gas is close by.
I tried the quiche today and a scone with my espresso.
Everything was fantastic! Great people and a lot of folks here tells me the quality is consistent!
Worth the stop!

Delicious hot corned beef on fresh baked marble rye. Also ordered was turkey on a crosant with cheddar cheese and dijon mustard. The price is right and service with a smile.

This is a great local coffee shop. Always reliable service. I like there coffee station, it make picking up a morning coffee very quick.

The first time I went here I had a great experience. Staff was friendly and coffee and breakfast sandwich were really good! I went back the following week and was very disappointed. The lady who helped me, Angela, was VERY rude. I ordered an iced tea, which tasted very bad, like it was spoiled. I politely asked if they brew their tea fresh daily, to which she replied «they try to but the tea she gave me have have been from yesterday». She then walked back into the kitchen, mumbling something about my comment to the other worker. The other worker then came out of the kitchen and I asked if there was any way to get a different type of drink, as the tea just did not taste right. She went and told Angela that I was asking for another drink, to which Angela said, «well don’t give her a new cup, just rinse that one out». They gave me a new drink (in the same cup) but neither of them apologized or even said they would check into why the tea may have tasted so awful. They then proceeded to give me a cold bagel that they did not allow time to toast and sent me on my way. No one said sorry for the bad experience, have a good day or anything. I feel like this could be a great business and I’m hoping this was just a fluke thing but with employees like ANGELA, you won’t be having many return customers.

Stopped in here today around 10:00. It was my first time here.
I walked in and it was hot and I just stood there awkwardly .
I was never acknowledged and after five minutes of standing there like an idiot, I walked out.
I called the person I was going to meet and decided to go somewhere else.

This place hasn’t changed since I was a kid Great coffee, great food and great people. Love seeing the locals get together to shoot the shit.

Came out hear to see the orthopedic person for my leg. Needed a coffee. Found this little coffee shop close to where the doctor is. Hobbled in, got a coffee and a bagel. Coffee was good as well as the bagel. Very fast? friendly, and cordial service. Great homey atmosphere.

Nice atmosphere, local flavor. their Neptune is to die for wonderful crab sandwich served open faced on a croissant or any other bread you choose. comes with a wonderful homemade ramen salad and if you eat in you get a pickle and some bagel croutons. Well worth the drive to find a special little place.

Really nice place with very good food and good coffee. We’ve had lunch there a number of times and each meal was very good.

This is a nice honest, local coffee shop with quality coffee and nice sammichs both breakfast and lunch.
I like it because they can make your drink your way and are not streamlined. I like powder versus liquid chocolate in my mochas and they offer both. They also have good pastries and sammichs made in house!
I don’t think it’s expensive and I think they have healthy options and delectable pastries made by the chef and owner. The family is personable working in house and service as expected at an independent coffee shop! Great!
They have some arts for sale as well. Very quaint and homey. Not as cozy as you may want to hang out but set up more to serve breakfast and lunch.
I think the sammichs are really good and worth every penny. I think the breakfast sammichs have a bit toooooo much egg on but that’s just my preference. I would say worth a visit for coffee and lunch if in Mukwonago, just like elegant farmer, visit Shanahan’s.
