Omg where do I begin… Kara is the sweetest host and their sandwiches are by far the best! Their location is cutest and quaint little farm house you can spend a nice afternoon in with your own bottle of wine! My friends and I had the perfect lunch in their backyard with the greatest views! You can’t go wrong!

Love this place… it’s a great little hidden gem in Mullica Hill. The figure jam is wonderful … the owner Kara is someone everyone connects with … you will feel as though you have known her forever !

This place is awesome ! So much charm and the food is delicious! We will be back asap. It is worth going off the beaten path to find little gems like this.

Canteen is really a sweet little gem tucked in on Main Street in MH. Visited yesterday while kids were at karate and had the most amazing Challah Grilled Cheese. They had a super cute Harry Potter themed menu and I enjoyed some butter beer and a «Deathly Challah Grilled Cheese». The outside seating was perfect to enjoy the rustic and delicious menu items. I hope more people give this place a chance and it stays in MH for a long time!

My 3^rd visit was another great experience. I apologize that I keep getting their ham with Swiss sandwiches so I can’t report on the other menu items; however, based on the food and service, I’d imagine you can’t go wrong. They were busy today, 3 of the 4 tables were taken and other customers were in line. The chef went out of her way to come out and tell me there were 2 orders ahead of mine, but she’d get to it ASAP… now that’s the kind of service and special treatment, along with the great eclectic menu is what truly sets them apart from any restaurant in the area. Shame on you if you haven’t checked them out yet!

A really nice place for lunch or a light dinner. We enjoyed eating outside although you can eat inside too. My girls had a grilled cheese which was very good for it being a grilled cheese. We tried the capraese sandwich. Pesto was great. What put our meal over the top was the friendly owner. She made my day! If you’re in Mullica Hill, you need to stop here.

Absolutely delicious! Her sandwiches melt in your mouth. Explosion of flavors leaves you wanting more. I love TBT and the grown up grilled cheese!

My daughter and I visited the Canteen restaurant on a cold Saturday and were warmly greeted by a person at the register and later by the person doing the cooking. The menu was colorfully drawn on a full wall chalk board and everything looked delicious.
I had the grown up grilled cheese and my daughter had the TBP. She liked her sandwich. The portion was large and it tasted great, she said. I must still be a kid at heart because I did not like the grown up grilled cheese at all. The fig flavor was strong, which was fine, but it was so syrupy sweet that I felt I little queasy when done.
Also, in spite of the warm greeting, the eating area was so cold that we had to eat wearing winter jackets. There was a small space heater in the room hardly making a dent in the crisp air.
It was really a mixed experience: nice people, freezing room, reasonable prices, so so food. Just to clarify, the food didn’t taste bad, it was just way too sweet for me.
Note: The Canteen sits behind the buildings on Main in what looks to have been a barn. The sign is small so look closely!

Wonderful start up, with Chef Kara who has a passion for fresh seasonal ingredients. Open on weekends only, so plan ahead. The menus change, plus there are the favorite items that are there often. You can’t lose! This is a must try!!!

Very warm friendly atmosphere, and amazing food. Very cool culinary experience. Great place to visit with friends, and good place to meet people in the neighborhood.
Very fresh dishes comprised of delicious locally grown veggies and fruits, exceptional cheeses and breads, deli meats, herb seasoned dishes. The ever changing adventurous and comforting menu is really a treat.

Had the turkey Brie and pear sandwich — divine with chips and rosè at heritage winery! A must stop in Mullica Hill. Everything I’ve tried has been on point!

A fantastic spot & the food was amazing! Our group tried the TBP (turkey, brie & pear), the grown up grilled cheese (fontina and gruyère on brioche with rosemary butter), and the melon salad (watermelon, honeydew, cantaloupe, feta on spring mix). Everything was absolutely delicious — so fresh and well made. Looking forward to stopping in again next weekend!

Wow! Sampled 3 different sandwiches and was blown away by all 3! But you MUST try the TBP! Great place, cozy atmosphere, and the staff is fabulous. Love this place, will definitely visit often!
