Colours Day Spa

I’m from NJ, visiting family in Muncie for two weeks. I received a gift massage at Colours Day Spa during my stay. Today I had a fabulous massage from Lindsey! She was very professional in all aspects, anything I mentioned she accommodated. I left the Colours Day Spa feeling very very relaxed.

I may have found my new hair stylist! Aubrey did a GREAT job cutting my curly hair and was very friendly!

Came back here while we visited this summer. We actually drove this time from CT so I was in desperate need of a massage after that drive! Hubby and I got a couples massage from Jonell and Ashley. This time I got Ashley, and she is just as fabulous as Jonell! They have a similar style and I really enjoyed my massage. Hubby did too.
We got placed in the same room for the couple’s massage. We don’t talk to each other while we get massages, but if you take a friend with you, you could definitely chat, if that’s your thing.
As I said in my previous review, the ambiance is simple and pretty. Just relaxing enough with twinkle lights and several candles.
I really wanted to have a hair cut, but I had to meet someone right after my appointment so I’ll be sure to try that next time. Everyone that works there has fabulous hair, so that might be a good indicator that their salon services are great!

I wasn’t sure what to expect from Colours Day Spa, but I wanted a massage and was willing to try them out! Overall, I’m glad I did.
I tuned out the not-​so-​scenic, run-​down strip mall they’re located in and focused on the massage experience. While I was a bit dismayed that my masseuse set aside the medical information form I’d been asked to fill out — some of which pertained to my need for a massage — I have to say she did an excellent job, and I had another chance to tell her what I needed and why.
The massage room I was in was very relaxing and calm, with soothing music playing, very low lighting, and seemingly fresh bedding on the massage table. After my massage, I used the adjacent restroom, which seemed clean except for the trash that needed to be emptied.
The only down points were a laundry/​stock room with the door open that didn’t look very appealing, and the fact that one employee had her son there playing. However, my appointment was on a Sunday right after they’d opened, so maybe something unexpected came up and the woman didn’t expect to be in the salon that day.
I would come back for a massage — the price is certainly right — and I’d be open to trying their other services too, although I’ve never been a «spa person.»
If you come, do be aware that this isn’t a spa in the traditional sense of the word. That said, many spa services are offered and probably very well executed. As I said, my massage was great and my masseuse was very attentive to trouble spots.

When I went to Ball State, I loved getting massages from Janell! She had the most perfect, relaxing touch and was so nice. I almost wish that I still lived in Muncie to keep going here for massages! Plus the prices are awesome. I might have thought they were a tad expensive back then, but after living in Chicago and paying $ 90 for an hour, it it cheap to get a massage there!
