Kirk’s Bike Shop

When I moved to Muncie, I had set my sights on a bike from Craigslist; all I needed was a helmet and lock to assure my new bike wouldn’t get stolen away from me in my new town. My first instinct was to get the accessories from Amazon, as I so often do, but then I thought, «Why not invest in the economy in this new town I’ve decided to live in?» So, of course I quickly Unilocaled a local bike shop, and Kirk’s was the first to come up.
This is a very nice shop, and the owners/​staff are friendly and incredibly helpful. They even gave me a discount on my purchase, but that’s not all. I pretty quickly encountered a problem with the brake on my new bike, brought it in, and they fixed it free of charge.
What I’m trying to say is, go here. Invest in the local economy and spend your money with these guys if you need bike stuff. They will take good care of you for a more than reasonable cost.

Had a great experience at Kirk’s. My mother and I wanted to get a bicycle for my fiancée this Christmas. Dave is the man: extremely helpful and nice. He helped us pick out a great bike, got her fitted for it and even helped us load it up in the truck. I live in Bloomington, but I’ll probably make a point to shop at Kirk’s when I’m in the neighborhood because the service was so exceptional.

I purchased my bike there in October. A beautiful Electra. They were helpful and friendly. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase!
