Muncie is a small city, so this mall is pretty good considering that. It’s clean and has a good selection of stores. Restrooms and eating options are a little scarce. Would be great to have that hotdog restaurant back!

As Malls go, it’s average, BUT most cities are tearing theirs down. SO, I’m thankful to have this MALL, to shop & stroll in. Many things to entertain KIDS !!! Many, many stores, including adjacent shopping centers, make this the place to go.

People working Macy’s were very nice. He store is super small. Forgot my shirts on a trip and tried to get some polos. Didn’t work out so heading to Indy. I would stop in again though.

For such a small mall, the have 4 anchor stores: Macy’s, JC Penney, Sears, and Elder-Beerman/Carsons. They have several of the stores that would be appreciated in a town with a university, but there isn’t much to it. There is no food court, but there is pizza place inside and plenty of options outside the mall. At least, Simon care about their malls and it should be relevant for a while.

As Josephine said, Muncie Mall gets the job done if you’re in the market for basic clothing. I usually frequent Old Navy for sweaters, jeans and their awesome clearance prices, Charlotte Russe for the occasional trendy accessory and dress, and Books-A-Million for gifts. I completely avoid Bath and Body Works at Christmas time — it’s so crowded and all the scents being sampled gives me a raging headache. You know what else gives me a headache at the Muncie Mall? The overly-perky, overly-persistent help at The Icing(Claire’s more grown-up spin-off). «If you buy two of these, you get one free! Have you seen our eyeshadow? Do you want to buy one of our coin purses? Do you need a basket? This rack is 60% off if you buy something 40% off or less from this rack!» SERIOUSLY. LEAVEMEALONE. Maybe I should save this rant for an actual review of the store. Hm. Anyway, other features of the Muncie Mall: –A Pizza Di Roma, which seriously comes as close to New York-style pizza you will find in Indiana –MCL. Who doesn’t love cafeteria food? –A Gap Outlet. Their prices are still pretty high, but I did score a pair of capri cargo pants in the off-season for $ 2.50. –A store with tons of cute BSU t-shirts and sweatshirts. Makes me wish I went there! –Macy’s — I bought a ton of Christmas gifts there last year and their sales were amazing. I wanted to hug the cashier. So there you go. Muncie Mall. It’s pretty much what you’d expect.
