Authentic Mexican and Latin American food! Located conveniently on campus within walking distance for most ball state students! It is very clean as it is in a brand new building! Food is prepared freshly everyday! Great place for families and friends to gather and enjoy of a good time!

Nice place but it would not make my top 20 in Mexican Restaurants. I love Mexican food and had my palate set for some tasty morsels. The flavor was bland. I expected to at least taste some spices. We had fajitas„ huevos rancheros and special ribeye which I ordered Medium well that came out almost as jerky. I hope this was just a grand opening training issue. Great location but without better food it will be another short lived restaurant concept.

This place is a bit of an oddity – but in a good way! Most Mexican restaurants go in to old buildings, or closed places of business. This place is in a brand new building, on the street level, with campus apartments built above it. The menu is quite extensive and totals five pages. Most entrees are in the $ 6 – 13 dollar range. Some items are only available on Sundays – like the Spanish Style Paella. They recommend calling ahead and making a reservation for that one due to its long cooking process. Lunch specials are available every day until 3 pm, and then(after 3 pm) they are still available for an extra buck twenty nine. The restaurant is still awaiting transfer of its three way liquor license, so that means only beer and wine right now. Gotta love Indiana with its archaic«blue» laws. No review of a Mexican restaurant is complete without at least a comment on the salsa. We were served the regular off-the-street salsa and I was just fine with that. It was not too runny, nor too thick. My taste buds were not put out of commission. I know some of my friends would have been disappointed by the lack of «fire», but you can doctor it up with the hot sauces they have on the tables. Now for the bad part – no free parking. There are meters that operate every day 24 hours a day for a dollar an hour. There is off street parking that isn’t metered a few blocks away. I expect it will not hurt the restaurant that much as a lot of the clientele will be BSU students who will walk there.(its in the«Village» for you alumni out there) Still, the locals here in Muncie are pretty used to their free parking.
