My friend and I had a late lunch here after a day of Christmas shopping a few weeks ago. Service was attentive. We both just had salads and Bloody Marys. Food was fine. My five star rating is for the absolutely amazing customer service the manager and staff gave to an elderly gentleman who had lost his check book. Apparently, he had been sitting at our table and several members of the staff asked us to kindly get up for a moment while they looked for it(we had just arrived and had not been served yet). Unfortunately, they didn’t find it. The hostess reassured him that if they found it, they would contact him. At the end of our meal, the gentleman came back in and asked if anyone had found it. While they did not, both the hostess and our server went out of their way to reassure him that they would contact him if it was found. Then the manager approached him and reassured him as well. The staff was absolutely kind, courteous, and genuine to this elderly man. I’ve seen way less customer service at far better restaurants. Kudos to the Red Lobster staff. And I hope they did find the gentleman’s check book.

About three or four time a year I get the urge to go eat fish here. I have always found the food and service to be very good and the wait reasonable. I usually drink draft beer and they have a decent selection. I always have to have the chocolate cake with the send tall draft for desert.

My family and I go to the Muncie location frequently, and we love it. Our favorite server is Angela, we ask to be seated in her section every time we go, and we’ve never been disappointed, she’s really professional, and always takes care of us, doing the things that really make you appreciate a good server — always on the spot to refill drinks, get more biscuits, trying to make our dining out experience as perfect as possible, she’s also really good with child customers. The food is always great, I’ve even tried a couple non-seafood entrees, and was really pleased with them, as well. Highly recommend Red Lobster of Muncie, and we highly recommend that you request Angela as your server, you won’t be disappointed.

Recently we dined at Red Lobster and the experience were not what we expected. Well today we had lunch again at Red Lobster and once again we were surprized. However, this time it was 180 Degrees the other way. First of all Tony our Server/Waiter needs to receive a raise. He was absolutely 110% professional. The food he brought us was not only hot, fresh but delicious as well. Everytime my glass was empty there was Tony to refill my wife and I’s glasses. The salad was served cold as it should be and the tomatoes and cucumbers were really great and the lettuce was fresh and crisp. Moving on to the fresh rolls, I personally had 4 of them and my wife had 4 also. Then Tony brought the Breaded Shrimp for my wife and the Shrimp Scampi for me. Both were served piping hot and delicious. The quality and quantity for both entrees were dinner size rather than lunch. The sides we had were french fries for the wife(I had a few of them also) which were great and rice with my Scampi. The rice was cooked just right and served hot. Tony took time to talk with us a bit since it was just a little after 11:00AM and the crowd had not come in for lunch yet. Even though he rgraduated from Central HS, Muncie(I graduated from Southside HS, Muncie) he still was a great host. To sum it up this is THEREDLOBSTER we are used to. We will definately be back again. Just a note, neither Tony or anyone else at Red Lobster knew we had come back to give it another try, and thanks to the kindness of Erin DeMuth, General Manager of the Red Lobster in Muncie, who personally contacted me by phone and asked if I would give them another try, which I am glad we did. So they were not putting on a show because neither Tony or Erin knew who we were. My only regret is that I could only give Red Lobster 5 Stars. Rick B.

Emily was a delightful server. She is personable, insightful and ensured excellent quality of food. Certainly my favorite server in Muncie at the moment.

I love crab and lobster. The lobster was fishy, some of the crab was dried out, and the rest was just so-so. I won’t be back. This is the 3rd time, I wanted to be sure it wasn’t just a fluke. The service and atmosphere were good, but otherwise… The rolls were the best part of the meal.

It’s on the main drag in Muncie. The wait staff needs some training. The lobster tank needs cleaned. Why are we here? Dinner was o.k., I ordered their shrimp and the oil was old and the shrimp tasted funny. Told the waiter, he brought a 2nd order… same result. They did comp the shrimp… very nice. Overall, everyone else had a good meal. I just think that some chains depend on their national advertising to keep them open… this RL is one of those. Competition is keen… sharpen up!

I haven’t been to a Red Lobster in a while, and I definitely haven’t been to the Red Lobster in Muncie in a looooong time. I grew up in New Castle and we used to come to Muncie for shopping and if we got to eat lunch at Red Lobster you knew it was a good day. Cheddar Bay Biscuits? Popcorn Shrimp? Yum. Now that I’m not longer a child, I didn’t know if the Muncie Lobster would have as much of a pull for me as it used to. My mom and I spent a long day shopping and were hungry so we thought we’d give it a try for old times sake(aw). Our waitress was super friendly and efficient(she kept my water glass full at all times which is a huge feat for me!). We ordered the 4-course feast for $ 15.99 because we were, as the title says, ready to feast. It came with soup, salad, entrée with 2 accompaniments and a dessert. Whew! I left Red Lobster… no, I more rolled out of Red Lobster very full and very happy. I got coconut shrimp as my entrée and it was so good! I added broccoli and a baked potato as my sides. The broccoli was a little buttery for my tastes, but hey who really cares. As long as I’m eating a Cheddar Bay Biscuit I’m gonna be okay in the end. I got a spicy chicken tortilla soup as my soup, the house salad for my salad, and the key lime pie for my dessert. Overall, I’d say that my childhood memories serve me right. I still do love Red Lobster and their enormous portions, and I still love shopping and going out to eat with my mom in good olé Muncie. :)

Food is fair. Price is way high for what you get. Long wait for a table with not many waiting. Service was poor. Complained but was ignored.

I wanted seafood, and it was to far to drive to get to Florida, so in we went to the«Big Red Crab» as my son used to call it. This month they are featuring shell fish entrees. Dinner entrees are about 20 bucks per person. I got my usual Admirals platter. My son ate half of it as he got a order of crab linguine which was small and pretty boring. We had Chad for a waiter. He did an excellent job and I would recommend him.

Good food(Though sometimes under proportioned [I asked for a lobster tail not a lobster fish stick.].) Depending on how much food you get equals if its worth the price or not. Staff is ok. They just redesigned the place and it looks much better.
