Friendly place with a cozy small town feel. In a good way. Pool tables, high ceilings, old building and friendly staff make it a great place to grab a beer. A great selection of beers and ales. Located in the heart of downtown with easy parking nearby. Feels like a proper pub.

The closest thing to a true, not contrived British or Irish pub atmosphere in Muncie. Biggest difference is that the prices are close to half of what you would pay across the pond. Great Midwest beer selection, with several rotating taps and bottles complimenting their standards. Live music ranges from bluegrass/americana to classic rock. Juke box has a carefully curated mashup of bluegrass, jam band tunes, and GenX college rock. No touchtunes wars here. In the summer months, the patio is a delightful cross section of townie business class, service class, and young creatives, made even better when they show movies on the façade of the bank across the way. Whenever I am away from my Muncie home, I yearn for a 4 dollar Guinness or a 3.50 bells two hearted, and the clear open sky vistas of my beloved Charles Street.

I was in town to see a group of friends and we went here for drinks. Fickle Peach is a nice bar with a good selection of beer. They have pool tables and, for a bar, a good amount of table seating. There isn’t a lot to do in Muncie so the Fickle Peach is a good choice for an evening out with friends.

For starters, they get five stars simply for making great use of one amazing 100-year old buildings remaining downtown. The space occupied by the FP used to be a bank, and you can still see the vault and some of the original woodwork. FP always has a good selection of beers(heavily focused on Midwestern beers) and the bartenders are friendly. There is a friendly cast of regulars and the bar is frequented by the great and the good of Muncie. It also has a modest presence from Ball State on the weekends. I would recommend the pub quiz, «Smarty Pants,» on offer on Tuesdays which features free beer for the winners of every round and generally pretty interesting questions(though focused heavily on «trivia» as opposed to knowledge).

For the bar scene in Muncie, its one of the larger ones and the brightest. The booths are great for conversations with friends and the bright lights mean you can actually see them across the table from you. Ask for the popcorn, it hits the spot with your beer.

This is my favorite pub in Muncie. I like the owners, the bartenders, the drink selection, the atmosphere, the patrons, and the location. I’ve put in many hours on their foosball table. I’ve never had a bad experience here and know that regardless of what kind of day that I’ve had, I will have a good time here. They occasionally have live music for certain events but rarely charge a cover. It’s by no means a music venue but whenever they opt for live entertainment it’s top notch. They also have«smarty pants» trivia on Tuesdays.

$ 4 Guinness? Yes please! Being removed from the Muncie bar scene for a while, I was delighted to find that places like the Peach DO exist in downtown Muncie! Atmosphere was comfortable – with a mixed, fun group of people watching the Pacers playoff game at one end of the bar — and other groups chatting in booths or while seated at the awesome bar. Beer selection was great! Lots of good choices on tap. Smoke-free inside was a plus… and you are welcome to take beverages outside to sit on the patio to relax also. I heard that they do have live music sometimes(?)… This old gal felt at home here. I will return to the Peach when I am in Muncie again.

Best bar in town. Staff and beer selection are both amazing.

This would be an excellent bar minus the smoke. I know, smoking and drinking go together like milk and cookies, but the smell makes me feel sick, so I have a hard time staying in this smoke stack for long. I do love their selection of beers, décor and atmosphere, though. And they allow dogs inside!!! It has all the makings of an amazing bar, if only I wasn’t being poisoned by smoke…

The Fickle Peach is a great bar here in Muncie. It is a relaxed atmoshpere and they have several good beers /wines to chose from. If you are looking to play pool and hang out with a big group of friends, this is your bar.

The Fickle Peach has a great beverage selection, including a wide variety of items on tap. The prices are excellent for a bar — affordable and not pricey. There is plenty of seating and pool tables for those interested. Love the atmosphere in this great historic building in downtown Muncie, with cool features like the original vault still visible. The only downside is that it can be very smoky at times.

Great selection of American microbrews on tap and in the bottle(Left Hand, Founder’s, Bluegrass Brewing Co, Bell’s, Three Floyd’s, etc), which means you’re not going to find a $ 1.25 Bud Light special here. The wine selection isn’t vast, but it gets the job done. The owners and bartenders know their stuff. They make great suggestions and remember your favorites after just a couple visits. There’s a decent amount of seating — I don’t think I’ve ever had to stand around there, even on a busy Friday or Saturday night. The atmosphere is laid-back — this isn’t a meat-market party bar where you can’t hear yourself think(thank goodness!). It’s mostly professionals, beer geeks and the occasional hipster. There’s no food, save the free popcorn, but that’s a small gripe. If you’re looking for something off the beaten path of Muncie’s college bars, the Peach is the place to go.

If you want to know where professors and grad students go to escape from the hustle and bustle of loud frat parties, the Fickle Peach is the answer. Being a beer and wine bar, the Fickle Peach boasts a nice downtown atmosphere with booth seating, bar seating, and lots of standing mingling room. There are pool tables and foosball for those who enjoy a bit of late night competition, and a juke box and live music pump some life into this historic building.

Great, mellow bar at the southern edge of downtown. Fickle and Peach made this former bank into a beautifully restored after work bar. There are 10 or so draughts and plenty more en bouteille, as well as decent wines by the glass. Hippie music on the juke and occasional live shows, but pool, foos, and a couple video games are more likely entertainment. Classier than the other downtown bars, but without a group of friends, attention might wander to the big TV.

The other place in Muncie to drink… Great beer selection and Woodchuck on tap which is always a plus. Awesome people watching.
