I ordered 100 cakepops in a custom shape for $ 2.50 each. Visually, they were fine. Everything else went wrong. I ordered an assortment of chocolate, vanilla and red velvet. I got all chocolate. Worse, they were all a horrible, bad tasting blob of what I thought was uncooked cake batter. People actually took one bite and threw them out. When I contacted the company to let them know about both issues, Roman responded with«Cake pops are made by crumbling a cake and mixing crumbs with butter cream.» There were no crumbs or anything remotely dry in ours. These had to have been 100%(bad tasting) buttercream. He then said if I wanted them dry, I should have specifically requested that. As for not providing the flavors we ordered, he just said he missed the request. That’s not good. If you are looking for edible cakepops, sorry to say I would NOT recommend this place at all. Last, their clear wrapping is longer than the sticks so they were hard to put in the stand. I also want to note their seal was almost impossible to open. I would strongly suggest a cakepop with a different type of seal/tie.

Just received 3 dozen tequila red velvet Bunny cake pops for my office. Packaging and taste are amazing! Definitely doing another order for our holiday party! Check out the pics in the gallery.

I just must review again! have ordered cakepops from this place three times in the last year: for my niece’s graduation and my son’s birthday events, and once for a corporate event for my company. We received them on time(I live and work on East Coast). They were beautiful, and were a hit with kids and grown ups alike. My co-workers loved the idea or a company logo as a cakepop — each time they were all gone in under 5 minutes! I agree with Vixxy that I can compare these to Starbucks variety — but top that with custom decorations and having them made to order! I love Chicago Cakepops, and I will be definitely ordering again. P. S. I don’t know what’s the deal with the negative review; perhaps the hostess kept them in the freezer or in the hot spot before the party? Just don’t order too far in advance, and just keep them in the fridge if you need to, and they should be moist and delicious — all of mine were :)

I compare these to the ones I get at Starbucks. Same or better, moist, delicious. Plus the custom decorating. Very cool.
