I absolutely loved Chantel and what she did with my hair! She was very attentive to detail and did a thorough consultation to make sure she understood completely what I wanted before she began. My experience at Bombshells was perfect from start to finish and I can’t wait for my next appointment!

I like going to Bombshells. Gina is the bomb! She always cuts my hair the exact amount I ask her to, and in the style I request. Her color techniques are phenomenal; I love my hair color! I like the way she styles it as well. Gina never makes me wait on her, and is always friendly and pleasant. The salon is clean. The décor is beautiful. The receptionists are friendly and send reminders of your appointment.

My hairdresser was very friendly and talkative, as well as eager to please when I requested water. However, she did not dye my hair the bright red I requested. The hair cut was very cute though, but the color was not what I asked for.
Make sure to be explict about what tone you want your hair done in. Neon, pastel, etc. For the wrong shade of red, this place was very expensive.

Hire better beauticians. The lady, Donita, who did my make-​up acted as if she had never held a brush in her life. She didn’t even put on actual eyeliner: it was just black eye shadow as a substitution. Even when she put that on, it came out jagged and no where even near my lash line. By the time she was finished, I looked like a racoon. My friend also went to get her make up done there, and she left entirely in tears because it was so bad. I also got my lashes tinted here, and there was no change other than smeared black circles under my eyes. If I could rate a negative amount of stars, I would. I would be rating black holes. $ 75 just down the drain. Worst experience ever.

Waaay overpriced. Booked prom updo for my daughter. She brought in a pic. Her hair did NOT end up looking like the pic, nor really anything I couldn’t have done. Fortunately she was fine with it all. But as the person who shelled out $ 75, I was let down.
My main issue was another stylist who was talking about an elementary girl in town who was raped by 4 boys. It shocked the whole shop (quite the downer when you are paying to get pampered).

Great experience all around. I was able to get in a week after I called– which is about 3 weeks sooner than the place I tried before. Was told my service (full head of highlights) was going to be at least)$ 120 and I paid $ 125– last place was over $ 200 for same service.
Gina did my hair and was amazing. So personable and made my time there go by so fast. The atmosphere was so comfortable and the girls were very nice and seemed to just have fun there. Will definitely go back!

I went in to have my hair colored with purple highlights, I showed the stylist what I wanted and asked that my hair to be dark brown and I wanted it to have heavy highlights. She dyed my hair pitch black and the few highlights were gone in 48 hours. Within a week all of my grey was showing and now I look like a skunk. Really, really unprofessional rushed job. She didn’t even tell me the highlights wouldn’t stay in unless I came back every few weeks or bought a $ 30 dollar bottle of conditioner from them until I was done. I could get better coverage with a box of Walmart color instead of shelling out $ 150.00 for this. I look like a ghoul with this way, way too dark color that I didn’t ask for.

Annelise Werme is FABULOUS! I’ve been referring her many of my patients as they could use some great muscle work and she has always gotten positively raving reviews from my patients! Glad to have someone who is not only a great massage therapist, but a great person available to send my patients too!

We try this place and is highly recommended. The place is just relaxing since you walk in. And the massage was awesome.

Got a great deep tissue massage from Annelise today. She was very sweet, attentive, and concerned about my comfort. I asked for deep/​stress relief pressure, and I got it. The room was relaxing and the table was very comfortable. Great experience all around.

I finally got away from the box color and went to the salon to get some natural highlights and gray coverage. I’m new to the area and I’ve never been to Bombshells before. Carrie Raines was my stylist that did my color and she did a fantastic job! My highlights are exactly what I wanted, very natural. The color was perfect (I let her pick it out), and I will for sure be going back on a regular basis. It is difficult finding a good stylist in a new area and I feel lucky I found one so quickly here in Murfreesboro. Carrie is an experienced stylist with a lot of talent.

Updating my previous praises of this salon:
I have been a loyal customer at Bombshells since I moved from Chattanooga to Murfreesboro. Brittany Catt is my usual stylist, and she does a good job — even if she seems a little judgey. However, this last visit completely threw me off of going there. I called ahead and set up an appointment and asked for a time allowance since I really wasn’t sure what I wanted yet, but definitely told them I’d want a cut and color. Fast forward to my appointment. I get there and check in, and the lady at the front desk tells me there might be a problem. Brittany comes over to my where I’m sitting –in the waiting room, in front of other waiting customers (!!!) — and starts rummaging through my hair like I’m a chimpanzee and asking me what I want cut/​color wise and then when I show her what I want, she essentially tells me that what color I’m explaining to her that I want is wrong. She then proceeds to walk away from me and rush me over to the counter. I am completely at a loss for words with how I’m being treated at this point. Then she tells me they only booked me for a 30 minute session and can’t accommodate me. So I leave completely frenzied because I have an event to go to and no one to style my hair. Poor service, unbelievable and inexcusable. Won’t be back. Ever.

I really wanted to love it here – and it was almost kinda close.
I chose Bombshell because of the positive Unilocal ratings and the reasonable pricing for what I wanted – cut, starting at $ 28, and single process color, starting at $ 39. (I wasn’t 100% sure the difference between single and double process but when I made the appointment I asked the girl if, since I was just getting a bleach out, was that single process. She told me yes.) Okay, so knowing that minimum I could have expected was $ 67. And knowing that my cut wasn’t super simple, I expected it to be higher, but when I got to the register I was shocked. It was $ 122, just about DOUBLE the listed prices.
My stylist did not discuss pricing. I did not get an itemized receipt. Maybe I should have asked at the register, but who wants to look cheep and poor in front of a number of other people who were waiting in line and buzzing around? And I was pretty happy with the cut and color. However, after getting home I realized that my hair was orange at the roots with 3 distinct bands of color.
I like the cut and after using violet shampoo the color is ok. I waited a while to post this because I gave «how was your experience» survey feedback right away and never received a reply. So Unilocal it is.
Bottom line, if you’re not sure what it costs, ask.

My sister and I made an appointment here while I was visiting from out of town. I was in the process of moving to a new city and was just passing through. I needed a hair cut for an upcoming interview. The ladies at Bombshell were able to get us in the same day I called.
The salon is honestly a woman’s beauty fantasy land. They have almost every beauty/​spa related service you could want available. It really made me want to go back for an all day pampering. It would be great for a girls day out!
Everything is decorated old school glamour and was very clean. I felt things were properly sanitised. The staff was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable.
I had a cut and style appointment with Cassie. I am very particular about my hair. I have longer hair which I wear with long layers. Cassie did a fantastic job and really took her time to do things right. I had several compliments on my hair from other customers before I even left the salon! She was friendly and I had a great time visiting with her while I was in the chair.
My sister wears her long hair similar to mine but needed some recovery help from a less than great cut from another salon. Tabitha did an amazing job on her hair and it looks fantastic! Tabitha was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what to do.
We would both highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their hair. We will both be going back in he future.

Went in for cut and color. Came out butchered and the color was horrible. I’m not one to post poor reviews. But my grey was not covered up. Scattered highlights. Not even close to the color we discussed. Specifically went to this salon for a certain hair color line and she didn’t even use it! She cut my hair or rather shredded my hair with scissors. Bad bad bad. Salon is nice though.

Great service, and after 3 years in the ‘boro, best haircut. Rose is wonderful!

Went here based on other Unilocal reviews and was very pleased. Michelle suggested a style (at my request) that turned out beautifully. Having had long hair for much of my adult life (very long time), she cut a short bob that is flattering and just the change I needed. Price seemed reasonable to me and I am now on a limited budget. Highly recommend!

I’ve been seeing the same hairstylist for over 20 years and I was reluctant to use the certificate for styling but I did anyway. I am so happy I did. It was the best cut I’ve had in years. I’ve found a new stylist :)
I used the remainder for spa services and I fell asleep during the facial-​which is what is supposed to happen when it’s really tranquil.
I’m making another appointment today.

Enjoyed my first visit. I was given a gift certificate for a mani and pedi. The service was great. My only wish is that my time would have been a little more relaxing. The other client during the mani and pedi talked a lot. Was really hoping for a quieter and more relaxing environment.

Loved my first experience here! I didn’t have any referrals or expectations walking in – I just finally decided to give it a try after driving by their building since it went up a year ago. And I lucked out! GREAT cut, GREAT style. The hair studio area was very cute, and I also got a tour of the spa in the back (which I plan to book a visit to soon). This is the third salon I’ve tried in Murfreesboro, so I guess «third time’s the charm!» Also, price-​wise I’d say this is on par with what I’ve seen for good Murfreesboro salons… but a nice value when you’re used to Nashville prices! (Just another reason why I LOVE living in the ‘Boro now! ;)
