Fantasy Nails

My first time coming here yesterday and umm I’m not sure if I’ll be back. I left another nail salon because the wait was too long and only came here because of a friend. I got a pedicure and a full set. When I first walked in I sat right into a chair to get my pedi done so that was a good thing. However it was the longest pedi of my life. I got just a basic pedi and you would’ve thought I had gotten something fancy but no. Pedi took an hour. On to my nails… they are ok nothing spectacular. I felt like the technician slick gave me attitude because I wanted my nails shorter and when she was clipping my nails, I would tell her shorter. She kind of rolled her eyes a bit… umm ok. She flew through my nails and they look big and wide on my fingers. The shape I wanted she did do but for $ 10 extra, I expected them to be more shaped. I thought my friend was going to Nails So Happy but when I pulled up and realized it wasn’t I said forget it and went in because she was already there. Oh yeah when I asked her about a design she quoted me something different then what the price chart says at the check in/​out counter. What she quoted was higher. Oh well now I know. I don’t see what my friend sees in this place because there are so many other nail shops that does better work. My friend didn’t even like her nails but she’s the one that told me to come here. Not my best nails by far! I should’ve just stayed with the chick I saw on IG (Instagram). My search continues…

I’ve been here an hour and I just got sat in a pedicure chair. Do I mind the wait? No, its a snow day for most businesses so many people had the same idea that I had, to go for a pedicure to ease the cabin fever. What I do mind is the interaction I’ve observed from a nail tech to the young receptionist. I obviously don’t work here or know the whole story, this is merely a customers point of view, but from what i’ve seen the receptionist is quite friendly and keeps busy. She helped me choose my gel color and searched for a polish to match for my toes. She’s greeted every customer with a warm welcome and a smile. Since i’ve been here, i’ve seen one nail tech snap at her several times. Once because I asked her to warm my water up. She ran to grab me a glass of wine and the nail tech had to turn the water off and got mad that she had to instead of the receptionist. I give this place 3 stars for the receptionist, but unfortunately will not return after seeing the way the nail tech treated her.

The other reviews are from several years ago when this was a decent place. Now it is dirty and nasty. The chairs are broken and the workers are rude. My 8 yr old granddaughter could do a better job! Stay away!

I went here based on the positive review on Unilocal.I ended up with 3 bleeding cuticles, some rounded nails, and some squared off nails. Pampering was nonexistent. I won’t be back.

If I need a pedi or mani, I’m here! Great place with the best people doing your nail!

Don’t be fooled by the location in an almost abandoned shopping center but there has been a nail salon nestled in a quiet corner for nearly 13 years! I’m sure most of you are like me, outta sight, outta mind! I’ve driven past this area several times and never noticed it because I’m focused on Krogers!
I’ll be honest, its the best pampering manicure and pedicure you’ll ever experience! These ladies really make sure they do their job well. No quickies here!

Great mani/​pedi deal. They really take their time on you which makes you feel special. Atmosphere was nothing special.
