Nails So Happy

Great service, totally worth the stop. I had Tiffany and she was amazing. She took her time and was very experienced. I am new to town, she did my mani, pedi, and even set me up with a great hair dresser. I will be going back. The salon was clean and very nice. Everyone was very welcoming.

This was not my first experience at this Nails So Happy. This was my second try. Every other Nails so Happy I have gone to in the Murfreesboro area always does a wonderful job. This particular trip, I got a gel mani and a deluxe pedicure. That may have been the most wasteful $ 65 I’ve ever spent on a service… The pictures will explain.

Worst experience! The first time I went the lady did exactly how I wanted my nails and I loved it. The second time I went I had a different lady and she was awful. I said I wanted oval/​round nails. She said she didn’t like it that way. I told her the last time I came the lady that did them did a good job and I really liked them. She said that only older people get round and young girls get square nails? But I told her again I wanted oval/​round nails. She still didn’t listen. She started doing my nails and I thought she was doing them how I wanted, but I started to realize she was doing how she liked. I was mad because I don’t know why she just couldn’t do how I liked my nails? I also paid way more than I did the first time I went. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone to be honest.

I’ve been here several times. The first few visits were pretty good. Price was good, service good… no complaint. But then one particular visit the male tech that did my nails cut them entirely too short and the French gel mani looked ridiculous. I should have spoken up so I chalked it up to one bad visit and went back two weeks ago. The lady did a great job on my pedi and brow wax! But she cut me pretty good when doing my nails and when I jumped (a natural reaction to pain) she laughed and made a joke. I had a sore on my finger for 4 days. But… I tried one more time and went back today. This tech cut me twice. Again, she laughed about it. I have a picture, wish I could post it, but needless to say… I won’t be back. I feel like I gave them enough chances to get it right and they failed. This salon is very convenient for me but I’d rather drive across town and come home with no blood around my nails.

I read the reviews of this place and this was not my experience there yesterday. The place was pristine, the staff were friendly, and my technician was lovely. I brought in my 4 year old son who talks non stop and peppered my technician with questions and inspecting his tools and rolling around in the technician chair next to his. My guy was so patient and friendly with him while tending to my feet.
The woman next to me was also being tended to in a great way. Her technician tirelessly scrubbed away at her feet. She said she had monthly pedicures although I am not sure how with the level of scrubbing/​shaving action going on with her soles.
I used to live in NYC and the demeanor of the shop felt like one in the City. In and out. Although my technician was very worried I was not going to stay and dry my toes.
I had a lovely experience and I will go back.

First I am so disappointed that I have to give them 1 star because they do not deserve it. Walked in and was seen right away and that should have been a dead give away because the young lady finish my feet so fast I couldn’t read all my new tweets. So after I told her that she didn’t do my feet «good enough», she did them again with a little better job.
I will NEVER visit this place again and I have to do a better job in checking the reviews before I go into places. Good thing I will be in Atlanta next weekend and I can get the done right.

Not impressed.
New to the area, I stopped in here on a mission to find a regular nail salon. The salon is horribly laid out. It is brightly lit, not well decorated and not welcoming at all. The pedicure chairs are in the most peculiar position, in a line at the back half of the salon, along a narrow hallway so that you’re sitting there staring at a wall while getting your pedicure.
Since it wasn’t busy and I was already there, I asked to get a quick eyebrow wax while there. The girl obliged and took me into a small room that seemed like a storage room with a waxing/​massage/​makeup application bed and small table with wax and supplies in the corner. I should have said «never mind» when I saw this ramshackle room that obviously could have never passed any health code, but I stayed. The eyebrow wax was actually pretty good — except she did wax between my eyebrows which I HATE — I don’t have a unibrow! Leave it alone! But I should have said something. In this room there was also the big box that their flat screen tv had come out of, so I’m wondering if the place is just new and just haven’t settled in yet? At any rate, I won’t go back. You shouldn’t open if you’re not ready for business and this place is not in any way what I look for in a nail salon.

So Rude! So Unprofessional! Made customers leave the second they closed, didn’t wait for nails to dry, I had to go to a different nail salon and pay again to get a polish change. DO NOT RECOMMEND!
