Food has been consistently great! My favorite thing to get is the«Create your own pasta» entrée and adding the sun dried tomatoes and their delicious Alfredo sauce. After they compile your ingredients together, they cook it in a ceramic bakeware boat with your cheese of choice on top until it is bubbling and browned. I also love their crusty garlic butter bread. The wait staff is always extremely polite, and there is always ample seating.

I can’t say it’s my favorite for pizza. The Ceaser dressing was amazing. The salad was fresh and crispy. For an$ 25 pizza night, this will not be my choice again. I’d love to try the pasta and other things.

It was hard to ever walk past Fin Fusion and try this place but I’m glad we did. The service and food were both fantastic. Definitely try the loaded cheese bread and pimento cheese sandwich.

Loved it for a fun dinner with my kids. This is a great hometown family restaurant. Large selection of pizzas, sandwiches, salads and baked dishes. I got the baked lasagna with veggies and thought it was delicious.

Best pizza ever! Apparently from an old family recipe. The red pizza sauce is so good, I highly recommend ordering your favorite ingredients with extra sauce and light cheese. Make sure to emphasize the extra sauce and light cheese so the chef will get it right. Fresh and delicious food! I haven’t had better pizza anywhere!

I picked up Sauce for the first time last night. I have lived on the Church street side of town for years now, but had never even noticed the place. I’m glad I decided to stop! We ordered the cheesy bread and a pizza to go. Fantastic food! I highly recommend it!

OK. Nothing special but not bad. The people are nice. It’s a respectable space with decent parking. The pizza is thin crust. I normally perfer a thicker crust but that wasn’t too big a detraction from enjoyment. For a place called Sauce though, there was hardly any sauce on the pizza. I found that amusing. I don’t like my pizza swimming in red stuff, but for a place that advertises its FAMOUS homemade sauce, there should be enough of it on the pizza for you to be able to taste it. The pizza tasted good. standard toppings with a judicious amount of cheese and toppings. The garlic bread was basically a hot dog like bun sliced up with butter and granulated garlic sprinkled on. And when I say sprinkled, I mean sprinkled. When you use that stuff you put a garlic avalanche on in order to be able to have a pronounced garlic flavor which, sadly, the bread did not. the sauce that came with the bread was good. again, nothing special.

Well, we placed an order«To Go», and I hope the food is better IN the restaurant than OUT, because my Penne Pesto Pasta was basil/yes — flavor/no. It was supposed to have sun dried tomatoes, but they were halved grape tomatoes! Also, the pesto was dried basil flakes(you can pour from McCormick’s spice bottle) floating in olive oil … no garlic, no other spices, no parm … sad! The chicken!, well, I’d guess there was MAYBE1 to 2 oz. only. Also came with«garlic bread» which would better be described as buttered bread. Needless to say, I won’t be ordering THAT again. With that said, my Mom ordered a Chef salad, which she liked. She only said that she prefers Romaine over Iceberg, but not bad. Also, my husband had the Chicken Pesto Pizza, adding roasted garlic(wish I had) and extra cheese and extra pesto sauce on the side for dipping. He said it was okay, but not as good as Newk’s. We’ll try it again, just not soon.

The food was great. We will definitely return. But I do agree with others that some of the dishes are rather small but good nonetheless.

I might have been willing to give Sauce 4 stars, but nope. For the price you should get something more than a small sandwich and a bag of Lays. There are plenty of other places in town where you can get more food for the money. Sandwiches were good, the pizza was ok. Not someplace I’m likely to head back to.

* Because of the storefront sign seen from the street(and not the one on the plaza sign) I have thought that this place for the better part of a year and few months was a BBQ place… Date of Visit: 5÷20÷14 Tuesday Time of Day: Noon Wait Time: None Location: This is the small plaza that holds S.T.A.R. Physical Therapy, a salon, an insurance company and Fin Fusion Parking: Decent amount of space, but could easily get packed in the evening The Kroger plaza is next, but not attached, to it. Upon arrival: There was one other table with two people at it. By the time we left an additional three tables were sat. Seating: self seating Table Count: Rough guess 14 four tops Service: On top of it. Didn’t have to wait for our check Wait for food: 15 minutes for lunch maybe Décor: Laid back, minimal decorating, empty frames a’la Pinterest style. Oil cloth check table cloths, and those metal framed chairs you expect to find in side room at a church. Order: Appetizer — loaded garlic bread — a small potion for two people. Bread is sort of on the flaky, buttery croissant side. One soda, The Kitchen Sink sandwich with chips and pickle, chicken alfredo with garlic bread, a kid’s pizza with two toppings, molten chocolate cake with ice cream, and a slice of key lime pie. We both liked the pasta(that came out nice and hot) served in a larger sized dish similar to the ones Olive Garden uses for their sides of marinara or alfredo dipping sauces(for reference). My sub wasn’t particularly big and it seemed like I got one pepperoncini and a small amount of tomato relish. it came with a bag of Lay’s Kettle chips I think. If you are a huge dude(or voracious lady) this might fall short for you. The kid’s pizza was a thin crust with plenty of cheese. Total Bill: About $ 35 Only«Eh» about the place: Granted it is hot out, it was pretty warm inside.

I have seen this place up close because my wife and I frequent Fin Fusion which is next door. I never went in simply because I hadn’t been in the mood for a Italian. Yesterday, I got my wife a couple sushi rolls from Fin Fusion for lunch take out, but wasn’t in the mood for Sushi myself. After reviewing the pizza portion of the menu in the window at Sauce, I decided to try one. The cashier/server Andrew was really friendly and helpful in helping me choose a pizza(chose the Supreme) and he also took the time to explain that the sauce and dough were made in-house and that they used a stone oven to cook the pizzas and baked all their pastas in a porcelain dish with a layer of cheese on the top of most of them(if I remember correctly). In short, he gave out very relevant information while being engaging and friendly. The pizza itself was really great. The only complaint I have, and it’s a minor one, was that the cheese, sauce and ingredients were sliding off the dough when the pizza was still very hot. As it cooled, you could actually pick up a slice without losing the cheese, sauce and ingredients. Though I know it’s a pizza sin, I ended up eating my pizza with a knife and fork. But apart from that, I enjoyed the heck out of the pizza. The ingredients tasted fresh, the crust was crunchy on the outside and still soft when you took a bit into it. Overall, that fact that I ate six pizzas in one sitting tells you that it was super good pizza. I highly recommend this place, for the pizza at least, but if they cook all their other menu items with the same care and attention that they cook the pizza with, then I’m sure they are amazing as well. I look forward to going back and trying their other items.

We had my birthday lunch with my family there! I had the Grilled Parmesan Chicken. It had great flavor and the bread was awesome! Everyone enjoyed their food and they were able to handle our party of 17 with ease. The waitress was friendly and the restaurant was clean. Best of all it is locally owned. We will be back!

Ate there tonight after finding the reviews on Unilocal. All the reviews were spot on, the pizza was excellent! Very clean, laid back, casual atmosphere. The menu has a lot of variety, including create your own pizza or pasta. No draft beer, but good selection of bottled beers including Fat Tire & Yazoo. We had the Hawaiian pizza. It’s New York thin crust style which is the way we like it. Loved it, just the right amount of cheese and toppings and the crust was excellent. Service was great. The one downside was that he was the only one running the register and waiting on customers which slowed things down a little. However, he did a great job and was very friendly. Support great local businesses and go check out Sauce. You’ll probably see us there because we’ll definitely be back.
