The 4 stars are for the fresh hot tacos and for doing it local style. Unbelievably, the tacos are $ 1.50 each. Tripa is an extra .25 cents. Jaritos tamarindo is available as well as wheels of queso, Takis, and other snacks. The salsa is light orange and picante. Fresh chopped white onion and cilantro available at the bar table. We ordered our tacos«especiales» with tomato, lettuce, and avocado. Next time, I won’t. It masks the meat, grilled onion and rustic tortilla flavors. Next time, we’ll order traditionale. The gordita struck our number two son silent while he scarfed it down and declared it awesome. Our number one son had a huarache, aptly named because the hardy tortilla is as chewy as a flip flop – in the most charming way! The menu is very brief. The service friendly. The food hot and carefully prepared. The location, definitely rustic – inside the USA Mart gas station. Fear not. Come on in and partake. Here’s the crazy cool part of it all – there’s some good food karma happening right here. On one tiny block on Bradyville Pike in Murfreesboro is Taqueria Lupita, Oriental Express, and Noi’s Oriental Grocery. Pinch me now. Right across the street is International Grocery and Mexiven. Wha? Fabulous. Murfreesboro is being very good to my family.

If I found a girl who thought this place would make for the perfect 1st date, I’d marry her now.

Very high quality good cuts of meat and very flavorful. Best tacos I have had in years. And the market it is located in has a huge variety of sodas and juices from Mexico. Want to taste the original Fresca that is made with sugar? They have it. This is going to be a regular stop.

Doesn’t get anymore authentic than this place. Taste like it came off a taco stand in Mexico and I love it. They are located in the back of a gas station but totally worth it. They cook it after you order so to save time call ahead!

Completely agree with the 1st reviewer. This is authentic Mexican. My husband and I ordered the steak tacos. They were to die for. This place is quite a drive from our home. But so worth the drive. This isn’t a place to sit and eat, but if you want real Mexican food. You can’t go wrong with this place. :-)

You wouldn’t even know it’s there,… And most people don’t. They don’t even advertise. Nestled inside a rundown gas station outside of the main part of town, on Bradyville Pk, is one of the BEST places in the state to get authentic Mexican food. I stumbled onto this place by a recommendation of a friend, all he said, «Looks can be deceiving. Steak tacos. I promise. Thank me later.» And I did. THEBESTSTEAKTACOS in town. I’ve also had the chorizo(Very good, but definitely greasy) You can order them however you want, but don’t be surprised if she looks at you funny. And to that, I say– TRYTHEMASTHEYCOMEFIRST. (Corn tortilla, Protein, pico, etc…) This is AUTHENTIC mexican food. Not american-ized crap, so try it how it’s supposed to be eaten, you won’t be disappointed. they may not look like it, but they know what they’re doing. This is like stepping into a Hispanic grandmother’s kitchen. They also have gorditas, sopes, clyudas, and lots of different protein options– even Lengua! ;) Don’t expect to sit and eat. You get it to go, and don’t forget to tip!!! And remember– this is a gas station– a run down one at that– so don’t expect 5 star service lol, just expect the best Mexican food in town! (Side note– I added this business on here JUST to get the word out about it– It’s not to be missed! And you will never find it, if you don’t know to look for it.) Awesome hidden gem in the Boro. «Try it– Thank me later»
