TEMPT Nightlife & Event Space

Went here as a friend was playing one night and man prepare yourself for the wedgie at the door to all the guys coming in. The bouncers act as if they are cops but they are doing their job. This is a place for 18+ high schooners and not your regular house music adult crowd. Depends on what DJ is playing but usually they are quite good.
The sitting area in the back room is accommodating so you can chill and relax their while who ever is playing and have a good view of the dance stage as well.
The bartenders are nice and fast and priced very reasonably, so enjoy the music and this place if you are into House scene.

I have never felt so judged going into a place. My friend and I were at another club down the road, but they weren’t playing the kind of music we wanted to dance to, so we decided to give Tempt ANOTHER chance. (Yes, this wasn’t the first time we were disappointed with Tempt) While waiting in this long line, we were getting crap from the bouncer. Irritating, but we just moved on. Got inside, paid our 10 dollar cover charge, and hit the dance floor! After only dancing for about 3 minutes, I looked around and notice we are getting a bunch of nasty looks, but we still didn’t let it phase us. DJ starts talking and we decide to do a bathroom break. Leaving the bathroom while some other ladies are coming in and one exclaims «ugh, there’s white people here tonight?» It’s ridiculous. My friend posted about it on facebook and contacted Tempt but they decided not to respond to us. So, if you feel like going and getting judged, this is the right place for you!

Interesting place, defiantly looks bigger then it is. Nice place, friendly people. I’ll be visiting here again.
