Toot’s Restaurant

The atmosphere was the best part of this restaurant. The food was mediocre but nothing to brag about and they have 3 arcade games for entertainment and nothing more. Staff was very friendly but that alone wouldn’t bring back.

We visited here with a large party. The food was good but not great. The service was excellent. I would return for a second visit.

Finally I can write a decent review about a place mostly everything’s fried and a little salty but they always have some kind of specials going on at all times on occasion there may be an off day on the food but probably cause I eat there so much you can order anything and be most satisfied I always get wings there the best in Murfreesboro in my opinion hands down the sauce and dry rub have there own taste its not like Frank’s red hot or some sort of conventional sauce your used to both locations are good the only downfall is if it’s busy the tables are right on top of each other so always get a booth only downfall is not to roomy and a couple times the chicken was overcooked and dry but overall worth trying at least once

I feel like the food got greasier? Like the oil hasn’t been changed in a very long time. Nobody showed us to our seat, just told us to sit at a specific table in the back. Then when we walked to it, it was already taken. The foods pretty gross. Anytime i want a sour stomach, i just go to toots in murfreesboro. Just nasty.

Since moving to the great state of Tennessee 11 months ago I have visited Toots restaurants at various locations as well as in Murfreesboro and Smyrna for both lunch and dinner.
Menu: A great variety of menu items to choose from be it appetizers to main course meals.
Food: I have not had everything on the menu however everything that I sampled from my plate and friends orders have always been delicious and flavorful.
Décor: Lots of memorabilia throughout the restaurant that brings back memories and fun for the kids to enjoy.
Service: Each and every time I visit Toots restaurants they are packed. That is an indication of a good place to eat. Regardless of how busy they are, once I am seated a server always shows up within a few minutes and once I place my order the food arrives each time, sooner than I had expected, always hot. That is always a good thing.
Price: Everything on the menu is reasonably priced.
I am always satisfied with each visit to Toots with both food and friendly service.

My fried pickles were cold and so was my shrimp. The waitress next to us was loud and shared a LOT of information about her personal life. My seat was dirty. Go to another Toots.

Great food and atmosphere. Short wait on a Sunday night, but not bad. Of five different orders and fried pickles, only issue was fries not being done enough.

Good menu, just a bit too greasy still. Fried pickles are amazing and lunch deals are good when you have time to dine in.

I’ve gotten better service and a cleaner dining room at Hardee’s. So initially when we arrived we were greeted by the host and directed where to go to sit instead of led to our table. Must I say, if the host is not leading the customer to their table what is the point of having a host. When you have a host you set an expected service standard which is definetly not met at this restaurant.
After making our way to our table we ordered our main courses, kids hotdog and oysters. The kids hotdog meal and oysters arrived at the same time. As two of us were sharing the oyster platter we asked for a second fork and we’re told by our waitress that their was a fork on the kids plate that we could use instead of getting us another fork.
While we waited on our salads I looked around our table and was disgusted at all the pure nastiness. Everywhere except our table top and chair seats was covered in dust, grease, old food, and just plain dirt. It was appalling to see that it was so obvious that no attention to the cleanliness of the restaurant had been on anyone’s mind in a long long time.
After dinner I spoke with a manager that just kept saying sorry but offered no detail on how the problems with our service and experience would be worked on so that our next experience would be better. She showed absolutly no concern or care at all. We paid our full bill and left to never go back.
In summary, if your looking for poor service, poor management and a filfthy place to eat… Toot’s is the place. If you want a nice dining experience definitely find someplace else.

Can’t beat Toot’s. Never had poor service at any location and everything on the menu is awesome.

Soggy coleslaw. I’m not really sure what the fuss is. Maybe I ordered wrong. I just wasn’t impressed and if you can’t get coleslaw right…

Would give 0 stars if an option. Have multiple chances to like this place. Yes their wings are good. But the last four times we went our wings came out cold… Service is always soso I guys you get what you pay for!

Best chicken wings by far! Tonight was our first time and not even planned. We were just darn hungry lol. Shoutout to our waiter Jim! Friendly and energetic despite that it’s already close to midnight. :) oh! the food came out in less than 10 mins. PRETTY IMPRESSIVE in our opinion.
If your in murfreesboro. Better try them out. Worth every penny. And look for Jim!

I went here for the first time today and it was great. My dad and I got the fried pickles and I ate most of it. I got the catfish and my dad got the Cajun chicken salad. You don’t need to eat the lettuce. Very good service. My dad even went here when this place was just 4 years old. Great place. Definitely coming back.

This place is always great! My kid loves the hot dog basket. And Mom loves that it’s free with the purchase of an adult entrée! I recommend the fried pickles and the chicken tenders with hot sauce.

Was good food. Didn’t take long to get it! Some different menu items.

My family and I have been coming to toots for 15 years now. My home is about three hours away but I will make the drive just for the fried pickles and hot wings.
They are just what they claim to be a family bar. There are kids running around, college students hanging out, business lunches, older couples, families, and just people looking for good food.
They have daily basket specials normally around $ 7. Over the years I have tried almost everything on the menu and have enjoyed everything. My favorite things are fried pickles, med hot wings, nachos, fried clams and burger. But they also have a great salad if you are looking to be a bit healthier. They also have great beer specials.
Also those of you with kids (not sure if they still do this but) you can print a coloring page off line have your hold color it and they get a free kids meal with purchase.
And the staff is always friendly and on top of it. Great atmosphere!

I have always loved Toot’s. The meals I’ve always gotten from there have been great. I’ve not always cared for the service, based on who was waiting on our table, but I guess I needed to remember that it’s just a bunch of college kids in there working. The best thing you can get there is either the Toot’s burger or the chicken strip meal, either with the curly fries. Can’t go wrong. Sauces are usually great too. Now I want to go again!

I was excited to try their fried pickles and chicken tenders. The food was okay, very average, but I guess you don’t really expect anything more from this place.
Fried pickles are your average fried pickles, quite salty. The chicken tenders aren’t the best that you can find around here.

The menu is very affordable. They always have random specials.
As far as comparing it to Hooters — it definitely comes off as more family-​friendly than Hooters.
Service is typically fast but all I ever get are the wings so I doubt it takes them long to prepare them.
As far as chains go this is my go-​to for wings whenever I’m in Murfreesboro. My favorite sauce is the hot-​bbq. I used to love their ninja sauce on their chicken tenders but they no longer offer it.

Toot’s is great! This place is always hoppin, no matter the day or the time. Apparently this is the place to go in the ‘Boro! I love, love, LOVE fried oysters and fried clams (I know this is not a sentiment shared by everyone), and the fact that Toots always has fried oysters on their menu is a big plus for me. We went at lunch on a Tuesday once, and I hate to say it, but the service was not good. Not sure if our waiter was brand new or just not really into it, but yeah, that’s my only complaint. Oh, and how can I forget Elvis, Toots’ resident lizard dude. He’s pretty cool.
