An institution of drinking named after the institution of learning it serves. MTSU is flanked on three sides by liquor stores. So much for a dry campus. This store is small and specializes in the basics: cheap vodka, whiskey, and gin. The wine selection is quite small, but you can usually find something decent if you look hard enough, although the refrigerated section mostly houses large bottles of Little Penguin and giant bottles of Gallo. They do have Crane Lake though, which is my standby cheap and nasty wine fix. The people here are friendly and if you live close by, it’s a handy neighborhood store. They are the only liquor store by campus open until eleven, even on weeknights.
