This is a Bible-based park, with free admission. It is a place to –quietly– meditate on Jesus Christ and the Bible. The Ten Commandments display is so large that passenger jets can see it from the air, when flying over the park. There is a replica of Christ’s tomb and a baptismal pool, also a small aircraft that a missionary used. There is a long climbing stairway with various quotes from scripture, and along the way, you will see«the witness tree.» The park is quite old, so many of displays are in need of maintenance, but that does not lessen the effect that the entire park has on you. There is a gift shop and a snack bar on the grounds. Well worth seeing, particularly if you are a follower of Jesus Christ.

Absolutely no phone signal over here(Verizon wireless), but any way it was a great little place to visit. Tranquil and quiet, nice stairs to climb, I would recommend coming here if you are ever in Murphy, NC. Even you’re not a follower of Christ, I think it’d still be a great spiritual place for anyone to enjoy. I surely did, they also have a little gift shop and a café to rest after a good hike. I don’t think many people know about this, surely come here and show your friends the World’s Largest 10 commandments!

Free Christian based park. Beautiful scenery!!! Lots of steps though! If you’re in good shape you’re good to go — if not bring your oxygen tank – you will be huffing and puffing by the time you make it to the top! And also some Tylenol for the aching muscles afterwards! I visited this place as a child and was awe struck by the awesome views. Now as an adult I have taken my son and gotten to see him awestruck by the place too! However I don’t remember hurting so bad as a child the day after;-).
