Open — Seasonal Warm Weather Only! Great «local» favorite. Servers are mainly friendly local teenagers. There is a drive thru! Very good selections of your favorite frozen treats. Ice Cream/​Yogurt Only, No Food

A nice gem in Murphy. Their sizes are perfect (if not too much in my opinion), ice cream is excellent, and it has a cute little old fashion feel to it. They also serve a frozen yogurt option if you are trying to get your sweet tooth fix, but watching your sweets intake. My only small complaint is I always seem to get the worker that seems to be in an off mood that day.
Top tip: they only take cash!

Excellent ice cream in a pleasant old-​timey environment. We had wonderfully creamy Rocky Road and salted caramel scoops! Seemed like a good deal at $ 5. We’ll be back.

Another Murphy gem! This is the place to go on a summer night for ice cream. It’s Cash Only so make sure to stop at the ATM before you come. I love to try their specials and my wife is addicted to the PB milkshake. It can be slammed at times but they are good about getting orders out. One bummer is that they are closed during the winter.

Driving through the area, I wanted to try this Mayfield ice cream that I heard so much about, and the visitor center suggested I come here. Seems like your typical local ice cream place and the ice cream was certainly delicious. I couldn’t believe how inexpensive it was! A small cup and slushie were less than $ 4. Maybe that’s just small town goodness? They didn’t have any prices posted but I really think they should cuz then customers would probably upgrade their sizes! I could have gotten a medium! My only complaint is there was absolutely no shady place to sit and eat, and it was a crazy hot day!

CASH ONLY. Great little ice cream hut with a pretty extensive menu: soft serve, hand dipped, splits, mixes, shakes, and more. Picnic tables on the side provide a place to eat if you want to spare the your car’s interior from accidents. We paid $ 7 for a small shake, single scoop of ice cream, and a bottled water. Not sure if that is «expensive» or not.

It’s GREAT! Just alittle overpriced… but you get what you pay for! It’s amazing and it’s a great place to «cool down and chill» for ice cream. It has an outdoor area but it’s not a big business. Maybe 4 workers running the whole place at one time.
