Do not rent any homes in Forest Meadows owned by Mrs. Aakers. We reserved the house at 1393 Sandalwood Drive in June of 2013. We were to check in for a week on Friday, September 20, 2013. We got a call from the rental Agent at Forest Meadows at 1:30pm on the day of check-​in and he told us Mrs. Aakers changed her mind and decided to stay in the house herself. She pulled the house out from under us at the last minute. Forest Meadows offered us another house. We had no choice but to take it because we had friends and family coming up with us. This was very upsetting to us. We had meticulously checked through the Forest Meadows listings and reserved the house that was best for us, only to have it pulled out from under us on the day of arrival. It was not the fault of Forest Meadows Property Management. It was solely the fault of Mrs. AAkers. We won’t make that mistake again.
