I don’t know if these guys are from around the area or not but they have extremely horrible service. Hard to have a striving business in a town where word of mouth is so big. I will not be going back to this place. Big guy with tattoos should not be working the front area or dealing with customers. Didn’t give me the free pint after guessing the correct answer… Still don’t know what that was about. Stepped outside with my friends for a minute and the big locked the door right behind us… They didn’t close for another hour. Good thing we finished our beers. All in all there are much better places to go if you are looking for a good time.

We were there on December 26^th and the place was packed, 20 – 25 minutes for food orders… We were okay with that as we could see how busy they were. Great beer, great staff. We got our food in under 20 minutes and enjoyed our flight and beers while we waited! Worth the trip.
The West Coast IPA and Mariposa Midnight are delicious!

Service sucks BIGTIME, went on 12÷26÷15 disappointed. 30min wait for chips and salsa!!! Save your $$$… Bald guy with tattoos is a douche bag, costing that place alot of $.

Beer, not bad. Good variety priced very reasonably. Had a tasting flight of 5 beers for 8 $.
Service, amazingly bad for a tasting room. Went on Sunday ¹¹⁄₂₂ while vacationing during thanksgiving week. The two guys working the bar were the most unsociable and rude people I have ever dealt with in that kind of an environment. Never suggested any of the beers, explained any of the beers, interacted, very odd and anti social. I felt like I was ruining the bald tattooed guys day by asking for the beer. I was planning on staying, ordering some food, and watching football while the wife walked around Murphy’s. I finished my flight and left.
At least I felt comfortable leaving after 10 minutes knowing that it wasn’t just me. He behaved the same way to the two other people that walked in. They actually just left after asking a couple questions about the beer and received the same treatment. I should have done the same.
Would be a fun place to hang out if they had better people working there.

Neat little place snuggled in among the plethora of wine tasting in the cute downtown of Murphys. A friend and I shared a flight and found a lot to like! Their beers are unique and don’t follow the uniform code of California IPA. The sour style was amazing.
Our bartender recommended the park behind the taproom for our kids and he was spot on that it was a not to miss experience!

Keep walking, service needs work. If you are at bar you will be ok. Get s table And get forgotten

This place seems to be a small mom-​and-​pop place… which is great. We went during a 49ers game and they had 49 cent hot-​dogs… which was great for my little guy. We ordered several beers, a few flights, a bunch of appetizers and we were happy with all of them. The food isn’t 5 star per se, but the beer is.
I thought all the beers were pretty smooth and a lot of flavor. I had the black IPA and the double IPA. The DIPA seemed kind of sweet. and I really liked it.
We ordered pretzels which ‘come with your choice of dips (cheese and/​or mustard) as well as chips/​salsa. Both were pretty good.
The service was great, though. They were very nice. We had a 18 month old kid with us and he was pretty much owning the place. The bar was pretty empty — which helped, but they allowed him to sort of run around (I know, bad parents!). But we wouldn’t have been able to try all the beers without it. For that, I appreciate it!
I would put these beers up with anyone else… I don’t recall how many beers they had — but it was a lot and all were excellent. If you’re in the area and bored (which is likely!), this is a must-​stop while you’re in the mountains.

Excellent beer. Their pale ale (long tom) and pilsner are both worth trying! Brewed right up the road and they have new brews all the time! Excellent spot for beer connesiuers!
