A friend recently recommended that I try Brio next time I was at Fashion Place, and I’m so glad she did. For the same amount of money you’d spend at Cheesecake Factory, you can get fresh, delicious Italian that is head and shoulders above its chain counterparts. We ordered: Calamari appetizer Crab cakes Molten chocolate cake I wasn’t super hungry and only wanted an appetizer, but the calamari was a huge, entrée size portion. The breading was nice, light, and crisp, and it was cooked really well(aka it was tender and not rubbery). The aioli was not my favorite — it tasted as though they’d just thrown it together so I could pick out the mayonnaise and the citrus individually, but their marinara is bomb diggity. The crab cakes were nice and meaty, not too much filler, and the roasted vegetables on the side were insane delicious. The molten chocolate cake was served warm with vanilla gelato, crème anglaise, and fresh raspberries, and it was one of the better desserts I’ve had out. At the very least, you should pop in and order one to share. The service was also extremely good — we went at a rather odd time when it wasn’t too busy, and in other instances at other restaurants, I’ve been met with hosts and servers who seemed exasperated I came in. That wasn’t the case at Brio — we were well taken care of by both the host and our server. This is one of the better restaurants in that area, and I can’t wait to go again!

I took my husband here for a special anniversary date night. Huge mistake! Worst service of my life, start to finish. We walked in around 5:30 pm on a Sunday. It was busy with already seated guests but not swamped and no one else waiting to be seated. The hostess asked us to sit down and wait while she found us a table. We were confused about being asked to sit when no one else was waiting and we could see empty tables. After an unexplained 15 minute wait, we were finally seated. No greeting from the waitress for another good 15 minutes. No waters, nothing. Then finally after mentioning to my husband that I felt invisible, the waitress showed up. She tried to just take our drink orders and after already having been there 30 minutes now, we wanted to order now. She seemed a bit annoyed that we were going against her plan. When my husband asked if he could substitute more vegetables instead of a potato based side(a completely normal request I’m sure) her response was«I’ll do my best.» Wtf? We ordered and received our drinks and some bread after another long wait. The. Finally yay, our food arrived from a gentleman who was not our waitress. Oh except I was handed the completely wrong order. He was nice enough and offered to correct it and asked my husband if he wanted his food now or wanted to wait for me. Being the gentleman he is he said he would wait for me. So the waiter took both our dishes back to the kitchen. Our dumb waitress immediately brought it back. It doesn’t get better from here but I’m done talking about it. I won’t go back.

It might be good. Was seated and waited 10 minutes with server walking past me. Dinning alone but did not want to sit in the empty bar. I will never know if the food is good

Now that I have been here numerous times, I really like the food even tho the service is still hit and miss. Recently sitting I sat at the bar I had the best dessert drink a godiva martini. Omg I could have charged a fee for watching me use my fore finger licking the godiva swirls off the glass after I drank the yummy liquid inside. I mean forget blue boutique or Dr. Johns, just get this syrup. Or you can go get a corner table at the bar and order one if these heavenly things and the bartender will understand. She didn’t even bat an eyelash with my little sex show. Ok the food is great. Portions are large, I would split a meal. The lobster Bisque is really great with the salads. Hopefully you will get a good server.

Came here with friends for her graduation, and we had wonderful experience. The server was very professional and friendly. The food was amazing. I had salmon plate, my friends had pasta and grill stuff, and they all loved it. This place is great for dates, friends and family hang out. I would def recommend friends and come back again.

The food looked good and then you tried it and it was lacking flavor. Trying to pass as high end, but it’s hard to see it as that when your waiter calls you“boss” and tries to be buddy buddy with you. Was good to try but not impressed.

Our visit early evening 3÷03÷16 was a flawless dining experience. My best friend had never been to BRIO before, though I’d told her about my disappointment with our previous visit. We were seated in Armand’s section, and couldn’t have asked for a better server. He genuinely loved his job(AND made my best friend a killer mocha!), was knowledgeable about the menu, and presented our calamari appetizer to us with a helpful description of the dipping sauces. Likewise, his fantastic descriptions of the desserts helped us come to the conclusion that we simply had to order two desserts instead of one. There was a peanut butter dolchino – not sure if this is seasonal or not? It isn’t listed on the website – that was absolutely to die for, and just as Armand had promised, it beautifully complemented the chocolate layer cake. As for the entreés, I opted for seafood once again and selected the crab-and-shrimp crusted salmon. It was served over roasted vegetables with quinoa and a delectable lemon vinaigrette. I’m not a vegetable eater; I avoid nearly all veggies, but I was a huge fan of how these were prepared – and I even ate the broccoli, which never happens in other situations. My best friend ordered from the lighter fare menu and chose the Pasta Pesto to accommodate her dietary needs. Neither one of us could believe that something tasting that good could only be 550 calories. I have my eye on that entreé for my next visit. We were so well taken care of tonight and had such a fantastic visit, and look forward to the next time we stop by. Thank you, Armand! We’ll see you again soon.

Décor is pleasant. Though I wouldn’t call it intimate, or the place for a quiet meal. The party of eight I was with had to be spread out on the long benches they have, this made service a little tricky. Food was for the most part good. My chief complaint would be with the use of «instant» mashed potatoes with my entrée. For 17.50 that is unacceptable. If you ran out offer a substitute not cheapen out.

Lobster bisque. That says it all. OK, truthfully there is a lot of other great food on the menu, but I love their lobster bisque. Their Bistecca Insalata is another good choice that doubles as an entrée. Try a few appetizers as a meal and do something different.

I’ve been here a couple of times and each time has been decent. I went with a group of about 12 and they had two servers take care of us which was nice. They were great in getting our drinks and food. I order the salmon fresco and ate the whole plate; it was good. This place kind of reminds me of Cheesecake factory. Everything tastes good, but nothing super exciting. Their menu is smaller only because they only serve Italian dishes, but the portions and the taste reminds me of Cheesecake Factory. In order words, this place is alright for a nice group dinner but I wouldn’t come here on a regular basis. The food is kind of over priced and they don’t have anything on the menu that wows me. All in all, I would come here for birthdays or group dinners, but I would not come here on a regular basis. There just isn’t anything special, you can go to another Italian restaurant that would probably have the same things but at a lesser price.

I’ve been here a few times. I’ve had things from bruschetta combo to salad wedge to pasta. Not a fan of any of the pasta here so far. I like the cappacio and the eggplant with shrimp appetizer. There are some appetizers that I like but the only reason I always come back here is the desserts. So my stars are mostly for dessert and service. They like to treat me different at the front desk when i walk in because I look young, probably like high school age kids and that bothers me a little, but the waitress service quite well. I’ll always come back one day, purely for the dessert. I’m a dessert person and they seem to love serving it with condense milk here, I don’t get that but I’m not complaining

The first time I came here, I ordered the carbonara. The best pasta dish I have ever had! I came here and got the sausage and roasted tomatoes pasta plate the other day and it was okay. Not sure what happened, or if certain dishes are better than others, but either way I’ll keep coming back.

I have to say this last time I went to Brio was the best time. They really have come along and improved. The food was fresh, and very very flavorful I was soooo pleased with this visit to the point of moving this rating from 2 stars to 5 stars. I ordered the their Ceasar salad, and let me tell you I am so picky with salad’s but this was was very delicious, and full of flavor. They put the right amount of dressing, with the right amount of croutons, I enjoyed every single bite of it. I am still craving is as I write this! I also ordered the Piccante Chicken Spaghettini(no bacon), and ohhhh yeeeah, it rocked my taste buds!!! The spaghettini was cooked to perfection, the chicken was very moist yet it was cooked properly, and it had absorbed some of the flavors from the piccante sauce. The Piccante sauce was soooo good, full of flavors, aaand the spice level was perfect, not too little and not too much. They really made it right. The red peppers, asparagus, and the onion straws were to die for! Topped with the right amount of feta and cilantro… My goodness, I found my favorite pasts dish in Salt City! Yeeeaah! The dessert was one of the highlights of the night for me. We ordered the crème brûlée, and the tiramisu was soooo yummy! I personally liked it a lot. It was just perfect! The waitress was very very nice, and so helpful. I was very pleased with the service last night, and the friendliness of the staff. I will be back for sure! soon!

The food at Brio is delicious. I got the 3 course pasta dinner. Starting of with the salad… my wedge of lettuce was large, crisp and oh so fresh. As were the diced tomatoes sprinkled on top. The bacon was perfect as was the amount of cheese and dressing. It was served with a steak knife… that wedge of lettuce was THAT big. Loved it! I ordered the sweet potato and chicken with campanelle pasta and it was enough to serve two — three people. Wow! The flavors worked well together. I definitely couldn’t finish it. So wahoo for leftovers today! For dessert I ordered crime brûlée. I had one tasty bite. Looking forward to eating the rest of that today as well! Brio is a place I’d go to again.

I had the quattro bruschetta, and it was amazeballs. The crème brûlée however was underwhelming.

Came here for a work provided lunch. The food was was Great, the décor was very pleasant, but the service was poor. Even in the middle of the day when there were probably only 4 other tables in the restaurant. Sadly, our server(s) weren’t able to keep refills on the table at all. It’s like the more courses you serve, the less time you have to actually take care of your customer. It wasn’t horrible, but two people didn’t get the dessert they ordered, one person didn’t get their dessert at all, and most of us didn’t even get one refill in the 1:35 min we were there. Hopefully this being a new place, they are just still trying to work the kinks out, but I will be hesitant to give them another shot.

Loved the service and of course the food. We were greeted upon entering and seated promptly. The server was so on the ball she was very attentive and took great care of us. We ordered many items so we could share and compare. :-) Absolutely loved the Beef Carpaccio the best, they sliced that meat so thin about the thickness of paper, and the mustard aioli was so flavorful. The shrimp risotto was perfectly cooked and had a delicate and balanced flavor. The desserts on the other hand were a bit sweet, and overpowering with sugar. Not sure I would get them again and will stick to what they are good at.

Well, I’ve been here a numerous amount of times. so I got a taste of many items on the menu. People love to come here for their birthdays and they’re great on service though most nights, it’s a long wait. First off, every single time I’ve been here, I start with the Bistecca Insalata. It’s just a normal wedge salad, right? WRONG! For some reason my obsession with this place started because of this salad. Sometimes I randomly crave the salad, and only the salad. This is a wedge of lettuce that is topped with gorgonzola, bacon, roma tomatoes, and creamy, DELICIOUS, parmesan dressing. The dressing is to die for! I’ve had wedge salads at other places but they don’t come close. As for pastas, I’ve had quite a selection. Listed in order by favorites: Lobster & Shrimp Fettuccini, Pasta BRIO, Capanelle Carbonara, Shrimp Verduta, and Chicken Limone. They are all quite good in their own ways. Pasta is almost always cooked Al Dente, which I prefer. Their sauces aren’t like typical pasta places I’ve tried, each one has it’s own twist of flavors. You also get a basket of sour dough bread and some herb-y.cracker-like, chip… thing? Haha, no idea what it is exactly, but I do enjoy it!
