Good family style comfort food at a reasonable price. They have a good salad bar selection, scratch made scones and rolls and even honey cinnamon butter to put on them. Great selection of drinks and there main dishes are all very well made. And what family dinner is complete without desert? They have a delicious desert selection and its all included.

Pretty good buffet! A great variety of food, dessert and drinks! The waiters and waitresses are always there to tend to your needs, they refill your cup every 10 seconds!

UnilocalERS I ALMOSTGOTKICKEDOUTBCOFYOU. Do it all for Unilocal they say! Apparently you can’t take pictures here but the staff will wait until you’re done taking some to yell at you. Great. The meal was fine but I’ll get to that later. As I’m trying to take pictures a waiter came up to me and told me he was going to kick me out if I took another picture. I advised him that I wasn’t aware I was breaking some sort of picture rule. I can respect an establishment and their rules but I honestly didn’t know and I don’t think I should’ve been yelled at. The waiter said to me-” I’ve watched you take a few pictures here and it’s not allowed. So I asked him why he didn’t stop me after the first 3 pictures were shot and his only reply was«I was trying to be nice.» Well if you’re going to be «nice» then don’t yell at me in front of everyone. It would’ve been very easy to pull me aside. What’s funny is I told him I was just taking pictures for Unilocal and he should join for fun sake and he says in a rude tone«what the hell is Unilocal?» Lol. As a huge Unilocaler I was disappointment. I laughed it off. Now for food. I like it. The fried and grilled chicken is FANTASTIC. Juicy, tender and big. The best buffet chicken I’ve ever had. They have a variety of chicken, soups, salads and desserts. Home style is good! Be sure to check their website bc everyday they have a different main dish they serve and Saturdays are Italian day. Their lasagna was good, stuffed shells were cheesy and gooey and the garlic bread was fabulous. Staff– other than the one that yelled at me, everyone else was okay. My waitress refilled my drinks without me having to hunt her down in a busy crowd and she made small talk about her favorite desserts here. Her name is Alvin and she’s a cutie. Dessert bar– better than golden coral and better than any Asian buffet I’ve been to in Utah. They have everything ranging from cobblers, fudge, different assortments of cake and pudding. They have different flavors of ice cream and all kinds of rolls and scones. Your sweet tooth will be satisfied. I kind of want to come back just so I can take a bunch of more pictures and run around yelling«IMJUSTDOINGTHISFOR Unilocal!!!» I probably won’t survive in jail though so I won’t. :) sorry I couldn’t take more pictures guys!

I have to eat here because my family votes to come here, so it’s usually under protest. Yes, the rolls are hot and buttery. Yes, there are many options of meats, salads, sides, drinks and desserts. But I think they are too expensive – even for kids.

I use to always love Chuck A Rama. Especially this location, but the prices have gone up and every time my husband and I eat there, he coulndt finish his first plate due to something that they must put in the food. He runs to the restroom. Sorry… the servers are always nice and attentive. We officially decided we will not be going back.

I kind of think this place is a bit pricey when there’s not a lot of variety of food compare to most buffets I’ve been to. Their food is not bad to be honest just not worth the price for it. Rather go to Golden Corral if you want more selections.

I hit this place up cause I was in the mood for basic American. I had been to another location in SLC, so I knew what to expect. Ugh, why did I even attempt this? So it happened to be «A Taste of Mexico» night where they served burritos, tacos, and enchiladas as well as other«Mexican» items. It should be renamed«A Shittastic Taste of Texico» cause they food was just awful! They had taco salad, burritos, tacos and enchiladas with several meats. All of it was very unauthentic and more in line with American style. It was super busy, almost no places to sit. Children everywhere, screaming! This was on a Thursday evening. I got a booth and started to get food. I picked out a few things like the pork burritos, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy. Tried the taco salad. The only redeeming thing was that the salad was romaine lettuce and not ice burg. Everything else tasted like it was prepackaged and microwaved to be ready to service. The meats from their cuts they do in house appeared to be the meats that you but in the grocery deli and have sliced for sandwiches. I couldn’t even finish the mac and cheese, which was macaroni with the nacho cheese sauce used for chips, and the mashed potatoes and gravy was just awful. The deserts were slim and equally as awful. I don’t think anything there is real. The staff were friendly, but so overwhelmed that you only saw them when they had to pick up your dishes. Would not recommend, avoid this place. Anyone who thinks it’s good doesn’t know food quality or what non packaged, natural food that is not processed tastes like.

Not a great selection at all. Other buffets have a much better selection. Golden Corral for the price is much better. Not a lot of room… Super cramped, unfortunately

It was a little expensive but the food was good. I was disappointed with the pizza, I tried to give some to my kids but they didn’t like it either. The fried and roasted chicken was great. I was impressed with the Icees.

Pleasant experience. Wasn’t a line but had to wait for cashier. Food is typical American all you can eat so don’t expect much. Good place to go when you’re really hungry. Lava cake was great. If you want a quiet place you should probably look elsewhere. It’s a buffet so come to eat all you want

Horrible. Stay away. Nothing good to mention here. The sticky buns were raw dough. Everything was yuck!

Although I like the Draper location better because it’s not as cramped as this one … the quality of the food is just as good. Breakfast and lunch is $ 9.99 including drinks … $ 12.99 for dinner. Good variety of food, drinks and desserts and friendly service.

Hands down the best buffet place I’ve been to in a long time… Everything I’ve tasted is a 10… Mac n cheese just like moms, BBQ pork tender and juicy and the rolls are just as they say. Hopefully I’m out this way more often for work cause I’ll be making a stop every time I get the chance

$ 14 per person for a Sunday breakfast? At least have some more meat! 2 stars for atmosphere and service, but food selection is the pits. Overpriced and bland. Not recommended.

Chuck A Rama beats Home Town Buffet bar none. Home cooked, feel good, melt in your mouth watering food. My favorite dishes has to be the fried chicken, the waldorf salad and honey butter scones. For you senior citizens out there don’t forget to apply your discount.

PRESENTATION: Its like any buffet place… Full of food everywhere TASTE: The food was okay that day, I usually experience better. Maybe they had an off day. SERVICE: Our server was nice and pleasant. She always helped us even without asking. VALUE: 12.99 for all you can eat is pretty good deal I say, if you can shove more then 3 plates down.

I went there on Sunday… it was PACKED. Holy cow. There was a lot of food available at all times, which was cool. The food was good, cooked well, and did not find any rat tails or other fun items like that hiden in my food. The thing with chuck-a-rama is that its just bleh. You know what I mean? it’s just okay. The place felt quite tiny, because it was so packed, but Im sure they have a lot of space. They have special additions to their menus every day of the week. For example, tuesday is asian, wednesday is bbq, and yeah. it’s fun. I think everyone should experience the chuck, and then draw conclusions by yourself. It’s a true Utah experience. yeehaw.

Not a huge variety of food. I wouldn’t call it premium quality either. If you’re here, stock up on the chicken wings, the fried chicken and the peach cobbler. Try the other stuff but don’t get too excited. Expect this place to be a zoo with lots of kids running around. But it is cheap for AYCE.

this particular location is a bit on the average side. the best thing about this place is the peach cobbler with soft serve ice cream. 2nd best thing is the scones and honey butter. beyond that, it’s a bit on the bland side, and not very delicious. i prefer the 4th south 7th east location. they seem to do a better job.
