Mike Hale Acura

I have a 2008 Acura TL type S which I have always had serviced at Acura for the life of the car. The engine threw up a misfire code so I towed it into the dealership and asked them to look at it. They then told me I need a new engine and is going to be $ 7100. They told me a spark plug broke into pieces and fell into my engine. I was kind of skeptical of that so I took it to another mechanic and asked him to look at it. When he looked at it he open up the spark plug covers and said that there were cobwebs on them and they had never even been opened recently. He replaced all the spark plugs and the car has run perfect since. He could not even get a code to read. Also I asked the Acura dealership how much they would take my car in trade because I did not have $ 7100 to replace the engine and they told me they would give me $ 500 for my $ 14,000 car (which I have kept in perfect condition and always done the recommended service). What a joke. I will never go to this dealership again. They are who give other salesman and other mechanics a bad name. Still cannot believe how dishonest these guys are. Charged me $ 95 to tell me that too. Love my Acura, but will never buy a car or get serviced from Mike Hale again.

I went to Mike Hale Acura to look at a used Nissan Altima. Christopher Currle showed me the car with respect, openness, and warmth. Things he didn’t know about the car, he was open and honest about and tried to get the information. I knew they were experts in Acura so I was not expecting them to answer all my questions. Talking and working with these guys, I knew I would not have any issues and problems buying a car with these guys. I have been car shopping for months and was tired of the white lies and run arounds. I also got tired of being jerked around and lied to by other dealers. During the purchasing process, they were friendly, patient, and respectful. The best part, they were open about their costs and didn’t pull any hidden costs after I committed to buy, which I have been burnt when I bought my last car. My car purchasing experience was great and I would recommend my friends and family to shop there.

Bought my car here and have serviced it here. The previous visit I was told my battery should be replaced, but it’s under warranty, so they could take care of it. Apparently it was never replaced. Today I’m being told the battery needs to be replaced, but it’s probably under warranty so they could do it. But then a few minutes later he returned to tell me it was no longer under warranty.
No longer will I service my car here. Thanks folks.

Took my car in for a recall on a power steering hose. The service department is AWESOME! They were courteous, quick, complete, and fair. I asked them for a ride to work while I left my car, and they gave me a 2015 RDX (which I fell in love with… dirty tactics) as a loaner! Everyone I encountered was very helpful, and actually looked like they liked their job. I’m not a huge fan of big dealerships… but this one rocks!

Well the one star is for the experience we had with buying our car it was worth at least one star because our salesman was nice. The financial guy was a douche. Now 4 months later here for our first of the lifetime oil changes we paid $ 500 for. Well I made an appointment and was early. I was given a 1 hour time estimate for completion. I’ve been here for over two hours. They blamed the wait on other sources. When I was escorted back to the service area the technicians were bouncing tennis balls around! WTF!!! We paid to have a service done. We made an appointment. We were early. I’m not sure what is going on here but Mike Hale’s service department is dropping the ball hardcore! Get your shit together guys! Quit being the reason people hate getting their car serviced anywhere.
I’m not a very happy customer. I had an «accelerated service» appointment for an oil change. I was early even. I was told it would be an hour and 15 minute wait. A bit lengthy but understandable because I was informed and also I could see there were 2 cars ahead of me. I left the service department over 2 hours later. I was told it was because the oil filter ordered from the dealership a few blocks away had barely delivered the part. It was over an hour. I had time to walk to Starbucks and come back and watch an entire news segment by the time I was informed of this. My car was quite clean when I arrived but it was in need of a wash. After having purchased the lifetime oil change package with my car and this is my first experience with the «accelerated service» I’m thoroughly disappointed. Not only because of the time. But because when I was taken back to see my car your technicians were just bouncing a tennis ball but hurried to «work» when I walked in and the gentleman escorting me yelled «hey» to them. Anyways, my car was never washed other then the windshield and the mirrors. The oil change would have been $ 107 and the «wash» was estimated at $ 20 but between the two of them I lost more money during my wait time. I’m not sure what this $ 500 oil change packages fine print said but I do hope in the future Mike Hale Acura can improve their reputation. I’ll be sure to ask my other associates about their experiences as well and to inform them of my own.

i purchased at 2012 mdx after being told by the GM of sales i could get 24 mpg he did with his MDX. So far 19.2 is the best. I was also reaffirmed that if I put a large down i would get a better interest rate then the bank. America first credit union 2.99 i received from acura 2.99 WOW. I was also told it is a ACURA certified Pre-​owned Vehicle. dont worry it has been all reconditioned. The passenger front seat was treated to hide the crack but came of with one cleaning, 3 clips were missing that hold down the window cawling under the windshield wipers, the cover for the wiper blade dr side was also missing. The third row seat latch was broke but it was covered up with a matt and new floor matt still in the box. As for service the dealership didn’t have any tires so they were ordered three days latter. i set an APPOINTMENT for 1030 arrived 1015 FINISHED 3;30 THAT IS QUICK PDQ. Point being don’t trust them, the GM is quite tricky, And Christopher could sell ice to eskimos in decembers BUYERS BEWARE

I wish there were half star ratings, because that is what I would give. The only reason I would give a half star rating is because a salesman named Pete Black was very kind, sweet, engaging, and personable. Sadly, the rest of the experience with this dealership has paled the experience we had with Pete. No one else was friendly in any way, shape, or form. No one.
The service department is terrible. They say some thing will be done or followed up on, but they don’t actually do it. When we called and ask for an update, they acted as if we are trying to pull one over on them and get free service. All we want is for them to keep promises!
The two issues with our pre-​owned car are still not resolved and it has now been about 2 two weeks since Mike Hale himself called us and told us we would be taken of. No one has contacted us since.
Never, ever again will I buy from this dealership.

i bought my car here in 2008 and have had only good experiences since then. when i first was car shopping, i was deciding between six different car companies. i like to do my research and ended up taking 6 months to decide. almost every other weekend i would come here to test drive the cars and my salesperson, paul (i still remember his name after all these years — he was amazing), was so patient and not pushy at all.
one benefit of purchasing your car here is that you do get lifetime oil changes for as long as you own it. i have had many oil changes in the past 6 years and the services are always excellent. they’re fast and my car always comes out clean. they even vacuum and wash my mats every time! the customer service is seriously just above and beyond. plus you can schedule your service online which makes it more convenient.
the waiting room is honestly just average, but it has what you need. TV, magazines, coffee/​hot chocolate machine, tea, cookies (i’m sure from costco), and the newspaper. i’ve never there for too long so i just pass the time by reading. if i do the services that require more time, they do have loaner cars available, or a shuttle.

I recently purchased a brand new 2015 MDX from Mike Hale, I worked with Lynn. He was knowledgable and easy to work with. I’ve boughten many vehicles over the years and this was one of the best experiences that I’ve had. Granted, I knew what I wanted and I had researched this particular vehicle from top to bottom. My total time from arriving, taking the test drive and buying the vehicle was two and a half hours. Overall it was a very good experience!

Usually Mike Hale Acura offers good service. However, I called at 5:55, 5 min before closing and the receptionist mentioned the service department wasn’t taking calls and had closed for the night.

My 2007 (which actually is NOT an Acura) was in desperate needs for new tires, they were balding and had little to no traction in the snow. I did not want to deal with tire only installation companies or a previous dealership that I bought from. I knew that I wanted to be able to trust someone and have an amazing experience with not only buying new tires but replacing them. I knew a few people in my area who had a Mike Hale Acura or had visited who loved their experience so I had to try for myself.
Surely enough, I was not disappointed! The wait was minimal and the staff were extremely nice and told me BEFORE what the price was going to be, the labor etc. In a lot of businesses today they like to skip such normalcy’s. In all honesty it was probably one of the smoothest if not smoothest experiences I have had with a car dealership and love the tires they recommended. After the tires were put on they gave me a free car wash and I was on my way! I am so glad I stopped by Mike Hale Acura and will be visiting there again soon despite my Acura that is not an Acura!!! :D

I always go here to get my car serviced and they do an amazing job every single time. This last time I got my car detailed it wasn’t that great. They definitely missed a couple spots and didn’t shampoo the carpet or wipe the sides of the seats but I didn’t notice until I got home. I wouldn’t get my car detailed there again but their customer sevice is so great and they’re mechanics are awesome!

I will not deny, I suspect most car salesman who have ever had to deal with me probably don’t consider me an «easy» customer, I definitely do go in only after doing research on the vehicle model and features I want, and then I know what I need for my trade in and what deal I need to make a purchase happen. If I don’t get it, I tend to just up and leave, and sometimes that might take me to another dealer.
In this case, I decided I wanted a new SUV/​Crossover and after much research I decided the Acura RDX would fit the bill, and while I’ve been a Lexus person my last couple purchases everything about this vehicle and its technology package just seemed a better fit. I even checked out their lot on a Sunday while they were closed to make sure they had the exact model, color etc.
Now really it just came down to the test drive and the salesman. Well the vehicle pretty much sold itself on its own merits, but the sales consultant, Mark Egginton, was extremely helpful and showed me pertinent features and was patient with questions I needed answering. I was very clear on the deal I was after and what I wanted for my trade-​in, and after a couple attempts I was able to get what I needed. Mark was fantastic, and stayed after the dealership usually closes until things were completed and I was able to take my new vehicle that evening. This is how car buying should be, and tends to be what differentiates the luxury brands but I have to say this was a step up to what I’ve received at other high level dealerships over the years.
I chose this particular Acura dealership on a referral from a friend, but while that got me in, had they not been able to give me what I want I’d certainly have been off to the other Acura dealer downtown. I don’t mind doing it the difficult way if I have to — but there was no need.
On top of that, Acura gave me 0.9% financing and free oil changes for the duration I own the vehicle. Finance rates are a big deal for me, I don’t actually like to use credit if I can avoid it — but since that’s equal to what most my directly available savings earns in interest a year currently it was a no brainer to finance. That was also a breeze.

My wife and I were in the market for an SUV/​Crossover and decided to visit Mike Hale Acura. We had a particular set of dimensions that we needed the trunk space to match and the sales associate was incredibly patient as we opened up the back of each vehicle and measured the interior space. Throughout the process the sales associate was very attentive to our needs and answered every question we could throw at him.
Unfortunately we couldn’t find anything that would meet our requirements so we ended up looking elsewhere, but the sales associate really went above and beyond to help us.

I bought a certified used Acura here in May and I thought that the service was excellent. I had dealings with Jake and Mike F. and they were both professional and helpful with the entire transaction. I would definitely recommend this dealer to friends.

The first pre-​purchase sales/​customer service experience should be similar to a first date. I wanted to be treated well and offered the best experience possible.
On a weekday around 4:30pm I met a family member at Mike Hale Acura both of us ready to buy a car. After 20+ mins of walking around the lot and looking at cars we wondered if anyone was working. We decided they possible couldn’t see us and walked to the showroom. We waited another 5 minutes while looking at the showroom cars. I guess the sales people were selling cars online like gang-​busters because they didn’t even acknowledge us. We immediately went to another Acura dealership and we both had an amazing buying experience!

I can’t recommend Mike Hale Acura enough. Both sales and service are top notch. Service Manager Andy runs a tight ship and I’m always very pleased with the service I receive… they’ve been very honest with me and I’ve found they do great work. Here’s the kicker… I don’t even own an Acura! My vehicles are a Toyota Sienna and a BMW 3-​series. I highly recommend Mike Hale Acura — regardless of the type of vehicle you own.

Our salesman, Fidel was awesome. I felt like we negotiated an excellent price without any pressure. Then the day after we purchased our new RDX they called us to come back and sign for an even better interest rate than we agreed to. Service department is awesome too!

If I could give less stars, I would. Had a terrible experience with the service department. They don’t keep their word and care way more about the $ than their customers. Felt totally jerked around by these guys and ended up taking my Acura somewhere else to be worked on (After having to pay them nearly $ 100 for an inspection… a mistake I will not repeat) I would NEVER go back.

Go to Mike Hale if you enjoy condescension and really aren’t serious about buying anyway.
Awful awful awful. Rolled up to this dealership and was the only customer on the lot. Despite being the only guy, I received horrible treatment. The sales guy only got out of his seat to give me an information pamphlet for the car I came to look at.
THREE times I stated, despite his protests, that the car I mentioned was the one I wanted to learn more about and drive. Finally, I was permitted a test drive, but felt uncomfortable with the nearly coerced sales rep.
Bottom line: drive down the street to Jody Wilkinson where you’ll be treated much better.
