Taco Time Manager to his employees: Hey, I have an idea, let’s nickle and dime our customers as much as possible. We are going to over fry everything then charge an additional fee for all sauces. Customer to «helpful» employee: I’m getting charged for a ranch? I didn’t ask for extra sauces, I just asked for one ranch for the four items I just bought from you. On a more serious note though, the food was only slightly overcooked and the service was extremely quick which is why I still gave them 3 stars. It just irritates me when a company can offer you food but not condiments to go with it. P. S. Good cost saving plan, you gave me 14 napkins! I would have rather ahd the Ranch.

I’ve been to several Taco Time facilities over the years, and this one is definitely one of the best. The restaurant is clean, the food is done right, and the staff is friendly.

It’s Taco Time, and my kids love the crispy bean burritos. Customer Service was great, and my kiddos got free ice cream samples as soon as we walked in the door. Sadly, not open on Sundays though(which is usually the day we want to eat out).

Friendly Service, the bacon quesadilla tasted fantastic for $ 3 it was cheap and cooked fresh which I love. If you stop by and don’t get the mexi-ice you are definitely missing out.

Food looks nothing like the pictures on the overhead menu board after it is served. Was even harder to digest later. Great place to stop and get an ice cream cone for a dollar. The staff was friendly though.

I’m reviewing this one by virtue(I use that term loosely) of it having a Big Rod’s burger joint also in the same building, so this will sort of be a combination review. The Taco Time stuff will apply to all of the other locations, including downtown. Taco Time was my first introduction to the crispy bean(and other fillings) burrito and I definitely ate my share of them. Somewhere along the line, after keeping the price relative to places like Taco Bell and so on, Taco Time finally threw in the sponge and while not going dine-in upscale whole hog, sort of drifted to an area in the middle, not quite solely fast food(not really fast — in some respects, I wonder why they bother having a drive-through at all) and not really high end, either, which is where they reside now. The upside to this is a lot more and varied platter offerings, if you’re into that. The downside is more expense for the crispy or soft bean burritos, both of which they continue to do very well. Now, it’s basically a visit only if I get a craving. On the other hand, if you want to pay a lot of money for one of the worst bacon cheeseburgers you’re liable to encounter, you could always opt for a burger from Big Rod’s, also at this location. I know, I know, that’s what I get for ordering a burger from a taco place(and the opposite is also true, sort of along the lines of Burger King when they were doing tacos), but if they’re offering burgers and fries and baskets and charging a decent premium for it(comparatively), they should at least throw in enough to somewhat deliver the goods. If you’re going here, stick to the Taco Time menu, but again, even though they still do the old favorites well, this is probably best reserved for cravings.
