Nothing but problems with the night shift lately, long wait times, wrong food, order takers that cant take orders and manager has an attitude because his parents own the place. Went from eating there nearly nightly to once a week and was told tonight if I didn’t like it not to come back. Manager blames it on his help because he only pays minimum wage.

Absolutely love Reid’s! I’m lucky enough to live within 2 miles of this place and it is definitely worth it! If you want a biscuit… Don’t count on it if you go later in the afternoon. They are fresh and usually sell out by 10 or 11(on pretty days).

The breakfast is good. The biscuits are fine and everything is good. The problem with Reid’s is if you go any other time. I have gone a couple times recently and gotten burgers that were cooked to a crisp and underdone fries and rings. That is assuming that they get the order right in the first place which seems to vary. I am thinking the night crew probably has a high turnover rate because it is never consistent. Go for breakfast and leave before lunch is my advice.

Sheri and her husband have perfected their biscuits for over 20 years. I must agree. My wife thinks the strawberry jam is just fab! Try a tenderloin biscuit with cheese, and have it dipped in gravy. Make you smack your grnNy good:-)

We have been customers at Reid’s since they opened, and we have never had any significant issue with the food, only with the service on rare occasions– such as a missed item or wrong condiments on a burger, etc. The number of local folks lining up for breakfast orders every morning speaks volumes!

My mom lives down the road from this joint, so we hit the drive-thru for a quick lunch. We got two banana milkshakes(which had fresh bananas) and an order of hot wings. Both were fantastic-simple and yummy! We may get them again for dinner tonight :)!

Good breakfast. Get there early because it’s buffet style pick-what-you-want(unless you’re hitting the drive thru) so the food can cool down quickly sometimes. They’re constantly replenishing the food so that’s a plus. The biscuits — AHMAZING. Ask for the strawberry jam– can’t get better than the biscuits and jam.

We just moved here from NH and were out looking for some good local home cooking, Well, we found it at Reid’s Café! Can’t wait to go back and try the food I didn’t get a chance to eat this time. Best fried chicken I’ve had in ages, loved the fried Okra, and the collards weren’t bad either! Enjoyed the banter between staff and regulars. True Southern fun and flavor!

Food was real deal southern. Pretty darn good. Only problem was the staff was yelling and fighting with each other. I mean real Jerry Springer type stuff. You were warned

This place is a dump, if your about two hundred years old and you taste buds are gone this is the place for you.

Great food. Great atmosphere. Friendly service. With the exception of a young man running the drive thru. He was very rude concerning a sweet tea matter. Other than that, top notch!

I was born and raised on Reid’s. You can’t get a better breakfast. Biscuits the size of your face and just good food. The people are awesome too! Southern livin’ at it’s best!!!

Our son and his family recently moved and he said we needed to give Reid’s a try. We were in Gainesville for Christmas and ordered Reid’s biscuits for breakfast. They were very good and some of the largest biscuits I have ever seen. I am Southern born and bread and compare all biscuits to my Grandmother’s and Reid’s are as close to hers as you can get. Can’t wait to give their lunch buffet a try when we return on our next visit.

I live in Murrayville and cannot believe anyone would go to this place unless they were starving! This is barely acceptable for breakfast and goes downhill for lunch. keep driving

Standard Southern cooking. We went for breakfast(she’s a regular, my first time) and I had the biscuit and gravy with hashbrowns. The gravy was deliciously spicy! Just don’t be counting calories here!
