Came in to have a beer with my folks after a visit to the beach. Awesome service and the owners were very welcoming and friendly. Didn’t eat any food, but the beers were cold and reasonably priced. My folks head there for St Patty’s Day and said the corned beef was awesome. Would love to visit on St Pattys but since San Diego is home, would be an expensive St. Patrick dsy excursion. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good place to have a beer and chill

We found this neighborhood bar when looking for a place to catch the Clemson vs Carolina football game. We were out of town visiting a friend in Garden City/Murrells Inlet and he said he had heard some really good things about this Dive bar. And we all like Dive bars so we were very willing to entertain it. It was easy to tell at first glance that there were very few people inside due to the fact that there were only a couple of cars parked outside. It did in fact look like a dive bar in its location and signage, etc, but we went in anyway. We were immediately welcomed by friendly smiling faces of the owner, bartender, and patrons as we walked inside. We inquired about our game and were quickly informed that it was on the big projector screen in the back room. It was also on one of the four TVs in the bar area, but there was no seating available. We went to the back room, but it was dark and absolutely no one else was back there. We went back up front and were quickly told by several people that we could have their seats as they would be leaving shortly to go to the Citadel vs Coastal game. They had a large chalk board with a plethora of craft beers, but I didn’t get the sense that they were used to selling them very often. They were mainly bottled beers, but they had to be put them on ice as we ordered. The bartender did not seem very knowledgeable about them, and they ran out of several of the options while we were there. I ordered Smithwicks and Guiness on tap so I was fine. We really enjoyed our time there and got to know some of the locals who were very nice. The owner takes this business seriously and has done a good job in creating a local neighborhood bar. They also have a pretty varied menu, with the Irish pub food options highlighted. My biggest drawback was that everyone was smoking inside. Several were smoking cigars, but then even they switched to cigarettes too. They have these neat filter fans and they seemed to work pretty well, in addition to the front door being open for fresh air. With so many no smoking ordinances these days, I guess this gives customers another option. I wish the establishment much success.

Awesome Reuben – really tender. I often pass on a Reuben because I hate when the beef is tough, but this sandwich was like butter! Nice homemade chips, too. Beer was cold. What more could you ask for?

Went to have a few beers and something to eat pre St. Paddy’s. As stated by others a little weird walking in. First hit with cigarette smoke, then the regulars turn with the once over. Staff was attentive. Drinks were cold, Happy Hour is just 50 cents off drinks, no big deal there. It is an ok place but no real atmosphere to speak of. Great if you are with a group and have your own thing.

Fun little irish bar. The people all seem to be regulars and turned to looked at us as we walked in like in the old west movies. Weird. The owner likes to give backrubs as she introduces herself. Also weird, but nice

Pretty good! Had the corned beef and cabbage. It was delicious. Only complaint(and not a major one) is that the corned beef was chopped as if it were going to be put on a sandwich. Who cares? Good Irish food!

We went looking for Irish Food just before St. Patrick’s Day & O’Keefe’s Corned Beef & Cabbage was great! We liked their selection of beers… I tried Smithwick’s & liked it.

We were staying in the Myrtle Beach area on a early March trip and decided to just check out several places at random with out researching. We were litterally driving by and saw the signs and decided to go check it out for a couple beers. The amount of beers on draft or even in the bottle are limited. An irish pub usually has a good selection. We ended up with plain old Bud Light. Then next we ordered the wings. We ordered a simple order of 6 wings. When they came out it was 12. As these wings were«baby» wings. I have never ever seen wings this small except maybe on a cornish game hen. This place is clearly a «locals only» type place. We were out of towners, and it was obvious we were not wanted. We had our 2 beers, and wings and left. Will not go back.
