I was very impressed with the speed and technical care with which Ambassador handled my solar panel installation. The office and sales staff members were well informed, pleasant, and easy to work with. The installers were fast, efficient, and attended to all details with thoroughness and precision. The whole process was easy and fast. I could not have been happier with the whole process.

Our solar is now online and generating! There were some initial hiccups in the timing of installation and changes to the location, but the company reps, particularly the owners, went out of their way to address the issues and complete the project. They even absorbed additional expenses incurred as a result of the change of location and need for structural engineering, permits and construction. I have no qualms recommending Ambassador– and just wish we had installed solar sooner. Be sure to ask about the HERO program.

This is a great company to deal with! They were very attentive to detail and were committed to doing an excellent job. Very friendly and always available to answer questions. From start to finish they were available for my plethora of questions! I would highly recommend them to others. Many of their staff are veterans and all are very respectful. Any issues or concerns I had were addressed promptly. The whole process was simple and I’m already saving money!

After some initial delay due to the leasing contract, installation was efficiently done. All necessary roof repairs were completed in a timely manner to our satisfaction. Our project was difficult because of the type of roof on our home. Company went out of their way to make us happy in all aspects of the signing of the contract to the end product. The wonderful panels on our roof saving us money! The system works great and we are extremely happy having gone with Ambassador.

Very professional and knowledgeable team. I was very impressed by their extensive list of certifications, making them the most qualified solar company I’ve researched.
Every interaction has been pleasant and easy, from the very beginning, and even after the installation.
They made the process really simple for me by taking care of all the required permits and inspections (which was a headache I was afraid I’d have to take care of).
The system works great and I am glad to say that I can breathe easier, knowing I am free from the clutch of the electric utility, and I can now live more comfortably (especially with the heat of summer almost upon us)!
If you are looking to save money on your electric costs, and want a worry free experience, I highly recommend that you call Ambassador before making your final decision!

So I contacted nearly 30 companies and decided with ambassador. I knew exactly what I wanted and what I was looking for. If you’re a cash buyer skip all the big companies, they seem to rely on lease options. I found the best prices by shopping locally, but got good service and a good price here at Ambassador. My salesman, John was helpful and easy to contact for questions. We were given about a 3 month timeline to completion and were turned on about a week shy of that mark. My only complaint is regarding the payments. The final balance is due before your panels are ever turned on for operation. It was on the contract, but still didn’t seem right to me. When the county approves operation, Ambassador then submits the permission to operate to SCE which took a few weeks before we received the final permission and turned on our breaker. It seems more appropriate that final payment should be due once your breaker is on and you are operating.

So after about a week I finally got a written warranty. I guess they did not have one and had to draft it from scratch. But not after the company president insulted me and my family on another review site. i asked our sales man for a discussion with he president to discuss all the issues we had and the review and no response. Completely unprofessional.
Buyers beware, if you want clear communication and a quality installs the president of the company will insult you for asking too much from them. I purchased my system for over $ 36k and expected a quality process and installation. I got a good system in the end but not without a lot of heartache. What good is it they installed it early if the whole process to get there was painful.

Ambassador Energy has made many accommodations to ensure this solar purchase has been a smooth process and so far I am pleased. Every one that I have spoken to on each level has worked with me and helped me to understand the process. I can’t comment on the quality of work because I am in the process of getting solar installed but I am confident that this buy will be well worth it.
