We love her. She takes her time with you and will check out anything that you are concerned about. I’m a little bit of a worrier and she never writes anything off or treats you like you’re being silly. My daughter had brown dots in her eye which she suspected were harmless but sent us to a specialist just to be sure(yes they were harmless) my other daughter was vomiting and diarrhea for 20 days, previous pediatrician kept saying just a stomach bug(however no one else in the house seemed to catch it) We switched to Dr. Grant after my daughter, who was only 2 at the time, lost 6lbs and a trip to the ER. Dr. Grant figured out what the real issue was and we got her all cleared up. Sometimes you will wait a little longer but know that is because she is taking her time and you will get the same attention when it is your turn. They have after hours care so you don’t have to go to regular urgent care and you are tied in with Rady Children’s hospital so the people taking care of your kids are really into taking care of kids. Can’t say enough good things. Schedule your well checks in advance though. Those appointments are a little harder to get then a «sick» appointment.

Dr. Colette Grant has been a blessing to our family! As a first time nervous Mommy, she has gone above and beyond to be accessible to us and we feel like she takes great care of our son. She caught a diagnosis that a new young doc would have never identified in our newborn. The best part was her ability to instill confidence in the scary procedures that we were about to undertake at the big hospital. The Specialist even said, wow your pediatrician is good– she diagnosed a rare disorder without even ordering an X-ray! It was a complicated case that did not present normally and she caught it! The other reviewer said that she is condescending and I would like to explain that. She is an older pediatrician who has probably seen it all. She is very thorough yet quick to diagnosis and GREAT at what she does. I often webmd before I come in and try to guess the diagnosis and she will laugh when I offer my googled medical knowledge. I can understand how people feel this way, but how I see it is that I was trying to do HER job that she has spent over a quarter of a century perfecting. Dr. Grant is patent and is good at explaining why, the blogged diagnosis is close but not quite right and why my child has this rather than that. She offers a lot of advice and will treat you like her younger sister when it comes to parenting. I LOVEIT, WANTIT and APPRECIATEIT. To be honest, I wasn’t even going to write her a review because I want to keep her and her office a secret. The less people who know about her the better for my family :-)

I took my son in for a sinus infection. This woman is in the group of physicians that we typically use for our children. Overall we’ve been happy with this group of doctors; however, that changed today. Incredibly short with us(both parents were there) to the point that it felt she was intentionally being rude. Very, very poor bedside manner. Condescending and spoke to us as if we were in trouble for taking our child to urgent care when her facility wasn’t open. I’ll continue to take my children to this medical group, but I’ll certainly request that my children not be seen by Colette Grant. It’s a shame that some doctors still have the elitist, holier than thou ego of the old days. Get over yourself lady.
