Excellent place to take kids fishing. We caught so many and they were all gorgeous and big! Clean place, lots of tables and her store is stocked w bait, fishing poles, and beer. Can’t beat that. Jean is an excellent lady. Very friendly, helpful, and sweet to the kids. She offered to teach my husband to filet a couple fish and then put him to work on his own. Fish were very tasty! We will go back, great family day!

not the best place to fish in the area. The lady upfront is rude!

This place is horrible with a mean old lady that runs it. Be prepared that if you go there you have to catch at least 5 fish or she will yell at you and tell you your never allowed to come back because you wasted her time. Im not the best at fishing so we only caught one and she was so mean and it was $ 11 for a 1 pound fish. Dont waste your time unless you want to be insulted!

The guys running the place are very nice and helpful. My kids absolutely love fishing here. The are now open 7DAYS A WEEK! They have a little bait/tackle shop with drinks just in case you run out in this heat! I HIGHLYRECOMMEND this place for everyone who lives in the area to experience!

Great place to take the kids and teach them to fish. This place is close enough to stop in for a couple hours during the weekend and you don’t need a fishing license. As long as you’re using the correct bait(night crawlers 2 – 4 ft below the surface for trout and night crawlers or anchovies on the bottom for catfish) chances are low that you’ll leave without bringing in a few fish. The price seems a bit high initially, but for a once or twice a year fisherman like myself it’s about the same price as buying a new license, bait, tackle and equipment every year.

This place deserves(-) stars. Old bitch that runs the place is horribly rude who will insult you in front of your kids without skipping a beat. You and your young’un will end up paying $ 30 for a single fish($ 8/lb + fishing fee) that you can’t eat since they are mostly old diseased fish. Any fish you catch you must keep and pay for, even if they are inedible. RIPOFF!
