One of my favorite mexican places to eat. Called said they close at 9 pm. Walked in 8:30 pm said to go orders only. Thirty minutes left and only to go orders. You just lost my business.

We’re new in town and were looking for fish place. I found this restaurant on the internet and enjoyed the grilled fish I ordered there. The kitchen was very accommodating in adjusting the sides to suit my taste. Anna, our waitress was welcoming and warm. While the restaurant was set up for take-out, the dine in seating was done in «Mexican charm» and didn’t feel like a take-out place: colorful oil cloth table covers, tooled wooden tables and chairs and cheerful decorations. Wine and beer service was a plus. We will return. Mary R.

Gotta try the shrimp ceviche. It’s kinda spicy tho so be ready for that. The flavor is amazing and definitely will hit the spot. The prices are on point too and the staff are always sweet. Been going to this location for almost 15 years and I enjoy it every time.

The salsa is great. The people are great. The food was great. It totally feels how a mexican restaurant should feel inside. We have been three times and have had the same great food and service each time.

I got sick after eating here. We came for breakfast and the egg yolk tasted bad. I should have said something but instead I just dumped extra salsa on it and ate it. Not even 10 minutes after leaving I was speed-walking through Toys R Us to find the bathroom. My stomach was MESSEDUP. And stayed that way the rest of the day. I am thoroughly grossed out and will never come back.

Very good fish and shrimp tacos, the green and red enchladas have homemade sauce and it shows. Will be back and bookmark this place.

My friend and i ordered oysters, fried tilapia and shrimp ceviche and it was not what we expected . First we received the oysters, it was smelly, the color was yellow, it was warm and wasn’t under ice. We asked to have ice added, but all that was done was really nothing. They didn’t add the ice, but they stuck it in the freezer for 5 mins.(Really?) Then the server took it back and I explained that all we wanted was to have ice added. Which wasn’t done. Id ont understabd why that was so hard to do. So at that point, we had to cancel it. It seemed like it was such a hassle to have ice added. It should have been done before delivering to us or any customers. Next our shrimp ceviche arrived, omg! It was terrible. The shrimp was super rubbery, it had no flavor. Ugh it was disappointing. Lastly, our fried tilapia arrived. Presentation was spot on. Thought to myself, can’t go wrong with fried fish. Oh boy, was I wrong. I cut the fish open and it was still raw! Ugh! I called over the server and told her it wasn’t cooked. She took it back and the owners were there. They kept arguing that it was cooked. Geez! Just make us a new one, or ref-fry it. They didn’t anything. So we also canceled the fish also. We asked for our check and it took them 5 mins to give it to us because they swear we were wrong for giving their food back. Really bad service, no respect for their customers, they we also mad because we kept sending back their food. If it was prepared properly or if it didn’t smell and if they were nicer… Maybe it would have been a fine visit. But all we got was disappointment. Not so much as a sorry or offer us anything else to make our visit a little better. We will not be returning. But we hope they will improve on their service, attitude, food taste, and maybe just about everything else. Good luck!

Stopped at this place on our way home from San Diego. Small little place with a few tables. Would probably be better to order ahead, pick up your food and eat it at home. We ordered two carne asada plates, a california burrito, carne asada fries, a taco plate, the gigante burrito and horchatas all around. I got the gigante burrito($ 5.99 or $ 6.99, I forget exactly how much) and yes. that thing was ginormous, probably about five pounds of artery cIogging goodness. I ordered it mojado, with that red sauce and cheese on it. I ate about 1⁄8th of it and couldn’t eat anymore… it was just too much burrito for one person. Taste was alright. nothing to get super excited about. Big portions though. The rest of the people with me had no complaints about their meals. The waitress did forget the pico de gallo we asked for and my drink ran dry but other than that service was fine. I would come back if I was in the area, especially if I was short on cash and starving.

We recently moved to the Temecula area from San Diego where we’d had MANY favorite Mexican food restaurants. We were on the search to find a local favorite in our new community and I think we have! Everything we ordeedr was delish! My husband had Cameron costa azul, I had battered fish tacos, the kids had bean & cheese burritos with sides of rice as well as chicken strips and fries(for our super picky eater). Everyone enjoyed their meals and we had LOTS of left overs for munching on later that evening. Our waitress was also super friendly and recommended a few local places for us to take the kids for summer adventures.

Great little restaurant. The food was great and the price was great for the portions served. The staff was professional and friendly. We loved the Micheladas. I wish the facility was a little bigger. Had the suiza enchiladas and they were delicious. Has oysters and they were fresh. Will visit here for often

Just had the breakfast burrito which was delicious and huge! Had to be about a foot long. All for only $ 3.75! I will definitely be back to try more items on the menu.

The michelada was so good!!! The service was awesome and the food hit the spot! My husband had the Camarons costal azul he said they were good. I had the carne asada plate and it was good too. The plates were inexpensive and the portions were a good size. Wish it was closer to my house.

We had one waiter to serve 12 ladies. Lee waited for our drinks till our meal came. The other lady barely helped out this young dude. It took several times for out server to serve our drinks. So service was not great. I ordered campechana, the oysters and the octuples were not fresh kinda fishy. The nachos were quite dry. Although my fiends were happy with their choices but didn’t taste them.

I’m going to be honest. My family used to order take out when we first moved here and the restraint wad under different management. I think the best thing that happened was to get a new owner. The staff seem much happier and the food tastes a lot better. The presentation even on the to go items is well executed. A few weeks ago we took a friend for lunch here and out was great. The server was nice and we hooked a bit about my husband not eating any vegetables. She seemed in a hurry but it wasn’t too get us pour of there, She wanted to make sure we got everything as soon as we requested it. Large portions, good menu and they have never messed up my husband’s high maintenance orders. We will be returning for sure.

Great menu. You’ll find your typical Mexican restaurant food items here along with… if you are familiar with Mexican cuisine… stuff that will have you say«wow! I haven’t seen this on a menu!» The items that we ordered were prepared and presented well. The taste was spot on and the portions were huge! My wife ordered a combination plate so she sampled the taco, tamale and enchilada. I myself had the«7 mares» soup. And as for drinks… while they do serve beer and alcohol there… bonus points for the«homemade» horchata! Our only gripe was with the wait staff. Though the dining room was nearly empty, they seemed to be in a rush while taking our orders, answering our questions and even during their«check ins» with us. Which they did vary rarely of. Thankfully the food and my dinner companions were so good it distracted me from this fact. We will be back sooner rather than later.

Been here a couple of times since the change to the restaurant. The décor of the place is awesome. The bathrooms are always clean. The food here is to die for. Ordered three different plates and each time yummy!!! Wether it’s seafood or just tacos it tasted great. The salad bar is always full and clean. Best flan I’ve had in a long time. Really creamy and not dry like other restaurants I’ve tried. One of my go to places whenever I’m in town… Thumbs up guys!!! Highly recommended and ask for Sheila when you come in, very attentive!!!
