Real Property Management Murrieta

If I could have given them ZERO stars I would have. This was the worst customer service I have ever recieved. Both my tenant and myself are wholly unsatisfied.
My husband is active duty military and as such we were stationed overseas and needed to rent our house while we gone. The original RPM was satisfactory but once they were bought out by RPM Titanium things went down hill FAST! They stopped paying our gardener and yet were still collecting the fee from us. I found out from the tenant that the gardener was not paid and terminated services. so I was not even notified by the property management.
Once our lease was up, both myself and my tenant were not notified and thus he was defaulted to a month-​to-​month. Finally they contacted us and tenant signed a lease 2 months after the original lease had expired. Which I never was given the opportunity to sign the subsequent lease. Not sure how that is even legal.
Also, once the buy out of RPM to RPM Titanium took place the company was charging us at the old higher monthly rate and charging us for maintenance visits which were included in the old rate. So they were double dipping; essentially picking and choosing which of the old and which of the new fees they wanted to charge us.
Please, please, please if you take nothing else from this review just know that you should run as fast as you can from this company. Their inexpensive rates are an indication of the quality of service that you get!

Horrible company. I wish I could give them negative stars. I am a renter. The owner of my property hired this company. #1 — there is only ONE person in the Temecula office, and they are rarely in. I’ve tried to drop off my rent payment many times, only to have to slip it under the door. Now they have a notice stating they will not be held responsible for payments slipped under the door. #2 — I’ve had to call many many times and they don’t return calls. It takes weeks to get anything fixed. I had to fix something on my own (gas leak! urgent!) and pay out of pocket. It took almost 5 months to get reimbursed.

I recommend that NO ONE seeking a property management company does business with these people. I am hard-​pressed to remember when, if ever, my experience with a company had ever been this unpleasant, and, frankly, such a mistake. The initial contact was with their sales rep, Bobby Perennoud, who, while visiting us in our home, assured us he would always be our point of contact. Once we contracted RPM, he was never again to be found… save for the emailed explanation that the company frowns upon its sales reps continuing their relationships with its victims… uh…clients. We were discouraged, strongly, from being visible to the renters they’d put in the house. So, when they called me asking if we wanted to rent to 500 FICO scores, they suggested there were mitigating factors for the scores… of both husband and wife… and that they would likely be good tenants. They paid rent ONCE. RPM «could never reach the tenant». Yet, when I asked them for the tenant’s phone numbers, I reach both husband AND wife the first time I called each. After being dragged out for over a month, the tenants finally moved out without having to evict them. I made arrangements to pick up the keys from them in Compton, where I met them personally for the first time. This guy had tattoos on his FACE and 25 inch wheels on a $ 600 car. You get the picture? RPM could have, in considering ONLY the FICO scores, denied these renters. They had the whole picture… we only their opinion. Putting two and two together, we were ill-​advised to rent to these people. Had I known beforehand what I discovered after, I never would have agreed to lease to this party. They TRASHED our house… ruined the carpet, our paint was desecrated, our walls had holes and cigarette burns, it goes on and on. The way RPM structures its contracts, they have no vested interested in leasing to worthy candidates; the landlord is responsible for any and all fees associated with evicting a tenant, and they get paid each time a new renter is placed. They win coming or going, successful or unsuccessful. Not only was their judgment wanting, their communication was horrible. Their dispersing of funds was painfully slow, and their attitude was arrogant.
Lastly, to add insult to injury, when I told them that I wanted to be there and physically see the prospective renters prior to leasing to them, they severed the contract between us, stating we were insisting we violate Fair Housing laws… which is nonsense… then deducted $ 300 for early termination of the contract… which THEY arbitrarily chose to do… not my wife and me!
These people are a nightmare entity. If you do business with this company after reading this, in my opinion, you’re either a masochist, or you’re insane. I ALWAYS include my phone number in reviews so that if a reader wants to evaluate my credibility, they can. My number is 619 453 5330.
