Rolling Moon Sushi Rolls

Sushi was very fresh and the service was wonderful. When I showed the slightest hesitation in liking one of the items I ordered they immediately offered to remove and replace it. Will look forward to returning another time.

Wanted to try Rolling Moon due to the high ratings on Unilocal.I was also really intrigued by the Spicy Tuna Fries.
Hubby & I ordered green teas, miso soups, garlic edamame, the spicy tuna fries, Vegas roll, and tuna sushi. The waitress came back with cans of green tea. Extremely turned off. My husband actually swapped it out for soda instead. 5 min later she came back with another waitress who tried to upsell. She said the bluefin tuna is better than the regular tuna and asked if we wanted that instead. So we said yes and said we would actually like the bluefin tuna as sashimi instead of sushi. Our order comes out and they bring us a plate of the sashimi AND the sushi. So I said nooooo, we wanted the sashimi instead of the sushi. So she took it back. The 2^nd waitress then comes with the spicy tuna fries and the sushi AGAIN. so I explain once again that we wanted the sashimi instead of the sushi. She apologized and said there was miscommunication between ALL OF US. Uhm, no. I was clear! We continue eating and 5 min later she cames back with ANOTHER plate of sushi. I shook my head & said we don’t want that!!! I explained yet again that when she upsold us we wanted sashimi INSTEAD OF sushi. She apologized again and tried saying that the other waitress input it in the system incorrectly and didn’t know the difference between sushi and sashimi. Why do they even have a waitress who doesn’t know the difference!!! All of that ruined the meal for us. Not to mention the bluefin was too fishy and I love my fish. It didn’t taste fresh at all. And the spicy tuna fries were mediocre to say the least. Never, ever going back and I recommend you don’t either.

I normally do reviews just so I can remember if we liked a place that was new for us. So my first one was brief but let me elaborate now. This is the only place I go for sushi as the choices and flavores are over the top. My favorites at this time are the dream roll and the Sunday morning. I understand that sushi is hand crafted so I am there for the taste not the speed of creation. Especially when I order a baked roll! We normally sit at the bar and watch these guys crank out one masterpiece after another.
If you are looking for a quick lunch I would not recommend unless you order very basic rolls or call ahead for take out. If you want an amazing dining experience that you can savory this is your place.

This place has become mine & my boyfriends favorite local sushi spot. The prices are very affordable and the food and service is always great. I would recommend any sushi lover to rolling moon: p my favorite roll so far is the Sunday morning roll:)

I’ve been in three times this week because I live very close by and the food is always delicious!
Staff is very friendly and service is quick.
You can’t really go wrong with any of the rolls, although my personal favorite is the 911 — I highly recommend it if you enjoy spicy food. The spicy tuna fries are also beyond delicious, as several other reviewers have mentioned. Try the soju if you’re looking for something to drink — you can mix flavors, like the strawberry margarita and lemon drop!
Bottom line, everything here is delicious, I tell everyone to try Rolling Moon if they haven’t before. You will not be disappointed!

always fresh, staff is always friendly, new to the area gave this place a shot and they haven’t disappointed me yet!!!

Came here while getting our oil change.
Got there right when it opened. Sweet server sat us right away.
Gave us the lunch special for the day & got our drinks promptly.
Food was wonderful, baked roll was delicious but I’m not sure about the tomatoes and bell peppers on top, not very traditional sushi.
My fresh cut white fish was perfection, loved it. They have an all you can eat lunch & or dinner.
We will be coming back for dinner to enjoy the outside seating on the patio.

We absolutely love Rolling Moon! My friend & I keep coming back to this place for lunch! From their sushi rolls, lunch menu, & ramens. Everything is delicious and freshly made. We have recommended this place to all of our coworkers and now we all go there for lunch. We absolutely love Charlene (our favorite server) we are glad she is back.
