Signed up for service, 3 bottles and a machine for like $ 35 a month. Got 3 months of service, then missed a bill due to a billing issue and they stopped delivering and never contacted me with a bill. I finally call to see what is going on and they tell me I owe, so I say ok can I get a bill. They never send a bill so I decide to cancel service. A week after them picking up their stuff, I get a collection notice from Collection Buruen of America saying I owe $ 300+ for Sparkletts. Now I have a collection, GREAT! And I owe $ 300 for 3 months worth of service. I called them, they sent me to collection without telling me. They would never send me a bill itemized with costs and charges. I even disputer with the collection agency and they said, oh well basically and I still owe $ 305 and will not provide any details except: water cooler: $ 0 coffee machine: $ 0 filtration: $ 0 other: $ 0 Principle due: $ 305. I am a Costco Executive member and never thought I would be screwed over by a company Costco works with.

Water jugs with BPA, overpriced, constantly make mistakes and blame it on their systems being down.

Horrible customer service! And whenever I order water they are always a few days later than promised. Canceled and will go elsewhere.

i grew up on sparkletts, the water has consistently been good for as long as I can remember. The problem is they can’t seem to deliver what is ordered. When I first started, I signed up for a value plan.(4) 5 gallon bottles,(1) 24 pack of .5 liters. Seemed simple enough. Every two weeks I would receive(2) 5 gallons bottles and(1) 24 pack and they would happily charge me for the extra case I didn’t request. After a few calls I was good for about 2 years, I think. I never really paid attention to invoices or what deliveries I received the 24 packs. All of a sudden they delivered 4 bottles instead of the normal 2 and a 24 pack. I figured delivery guy must be going on vacation so he was delivering in advance, no big deal. 2 weeks later, 2 more bottles and another 24 pack. I called and asked what gives. No good explanation given. As a solution the manager changed me to 1 delivery per month to alleviate confusion on their part for 4 bottles each month. Next delivery,(4) bottles, no 24 pack. I called in again, customer service confirmed I should have received the 24 pack. Next day local manager from Murrieta calls me upset I called in and said I told him I only wanted the 4 bottles. I explained I wanted what was in the package, nothing more, nothing less. Next month, no 24 pack. Another round of calls. Next month, I left a note saying 4 bottles, 124 pack. To my surprise, it was correct, until I looked at my cc statement showing higher than normal charge. I was invoiced(0) for my included 24 pack and charged for(1) extra 24 pack. My brother in law happened to come over as I was canceling my service and said every few months they will leave and charge him for 24 packs he doesn’t ask for as well. He only orders the 5 gallon bottles. If you check or Unilocal for other cities you will find this is common practice for DS Waters. It is a shame because I really enjoy their product but they are very unethical in their business practices.
