I always get the same steak dinner each time I visit Applebee’s, and each time I try to figure out why they get such bad reviews. I’ve never had an issue with my service or meal. The desserts are good too.

Not a big fan of Applebee’s. Haven’t been for a while as the food seemed to get «more manufactured» over time. They recently opened a new one in Murrysville, and we thought we’d give it a try. My wife had the Chicken Cavatelli. It came cold. We sent it back, and it was returned fast as only a microwave can. It was cheesy but artificial tasting. Chicken strips were factory-made.
I had the French Onion soup and the wedge salad. Salad was tasty enough. Onion soup was covered with mystery cheese. Our server was new, but pleasant. He didn’t seem to be getting much help from his trainer. Nice place, but the food is still meh.

I’ve never been a huge Applebee’s guy, but a new one just recently opened about five minutes from my house in Murrysville. The atmosphere in the new restaurant is clean and nice for taking the family out for a meal with their murrysville themed décor. We did the 2 for 20 and started with the spinach artichoke dip which was great. I ordered Fiesta Chicken which was enjoyable and my wife ordered baby back ribs which she also said she liked.
