I stopped in this morning after honestly seeing my options in downtown Muscatine were limited on a Sunday. I was beyond pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was packed but my server was quick and friendly. She took the time to answer my questions and pointed out that the regulars keep coming back for the cooks pancakes so that was enough to convince me. I got the moms choice. 1 egg, 2 pancakes and I chose 2 links. I noticed her let the cook know it was my first visit. That was nice that they cared. My food was out very fast. Everything was cooked perfectly & was hot! Nothing bad to say about this place. If I ever roll through Muscatine, Iowa again I’ll be back!

The thing that will keep bringing you back is the service. We frequent this restaurant for breakfast and I am always impressed with how attentive and friendly the staff is. The pancakes have a slight vanilla taste that really adds a homemade quality to them. The omelets are delicious but be warned they are big. The menu offers standard breakfast and lunch fare with some delicious Greek offerings added in. Must try if you are in the area for breakfast.

Have been here six times in 8 months, (when we visit Neal’s)
More often than not the service is better than average, the soups are good to very good on a regular basis.
The wait staff is friendly and helpful.
Never any food related problems.
If you are patient, parking is not to much of a chore, prices are ok.
comfy chairs are a big plus. 4 me
Pepsi products gag me so I get tea or water.
I would recommend them, for lunches at least, its all I’ve had there.
The menu is not huge but that’s ok, because they serve good food.
