Service was good, but this was possibly the worst Chinese food I have had at a restaurant and at over $ 20 per person it was disappointing. They also have a steak type menu and perhaps that is better, but we were specifically looking for chinese during our visit and as far as that goes I cant recommend this place.

Quite possibly the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. The Beef Chop Suey was little more than bland, overcooked vegetables and flavorless beef strips in a thin, salty brown sauce. The Shanghai Noodles were similarly weak. The service was friendly and attentive but nothing could make up for the disappointing fare. Muskegon ain’t exactly a metropolis but it deserves much better Chinese food than this.

I’m very pleased with this establishment. The service was fast as well as the food. Both dishes were excellent. Ignore what others have said about the crab rangoons, they’re fine. What surprised me the most was the bar. Oh man, it has an impressive selection of liquors for Muskegon’s standards. The wine list is a little lacking but that’s no biggie. Now here’s what needs a little improvement: the fried rice with beef dish needs just a bit more flavor and you kind of get a «rushed» vibe; however, that’s better than the alternative in my opinion. Keep it up Joe!

Had the beef chop suey and it was fantastic, brought back childhood memories of the parent bringing home takeout 40 years ago when this place was located downtown. The owner Joe Chan still greets his guests with appreciation. I paired this with a freshly opened keg of Bell’s Christmas Ale which was also excellent. Will return soon.

Was not that great. You’d think about $ 15 a plate it would be at least ok but does not even comes close to Panda Express. Trust me, I’m asian. We didn’t even bother to take our leftovers.

I love Joe’s! My family and I have been coming here for years(going back to House of Chan). The food is consistently delicious. I have yet to find another restaurant that beats their crab rangoons, sweet and sour chicken, or cha siu lo mein. I live in Atlanta now and always beg to go back when I go home. Joe and his staff are so friendly.

Great food, nice atmosphere. $ 9.99 Sunday brunch. A great jewel close to Seaway Drive… a great trip from Grand Rapids! Joe Chan makes you feel like family.

The food did not taste as expected. Crab Rangoon and lo mein were just not that great. This especially true considering the price.

Décor looks good; prices like PF Changs. Interesting menu options. Ordered crab rangoons and they were very disappointing. The won ton shell was too thick and they were too oily tasting; no green onions either. Ordered crispy chicken but it was too much deep fried breading-not light and crispy as I expected. The dark orange sauce was just so so-kinda molasses-y. Rice seemed not that great even though it should be simple to do. My husband ordered the lo mein w pork and liked it fine but not the best. For the money the quality is not here-this is not a do over. If you are I’m Muskegon, Egg Roll House is a far better option.
