One of the best new York. strips I have had. Cookec just to order and served on a sizzling cast platter. Prefect service. I don’t mind paying a preminum for top notch food and service. I will be back.

Awesome food and the steaks were the best I’ve had in a long time as good or better than Ruth Chris

The steaks are as good as advertised and I’ve had them for almost 30 years now. Not only is the service good and the food tasty but the owners are generous and kind to their community. This is a place that deserves the loyal following it has earned. Kudos to Angelo and his crew.

Our service and our server Jean was definitely five stars. However we were disappointed in the entrées. We both had chicken Parmesan, very small piece of chicken and the marinara sauce lacked any flavor or seasoning, very bland.

Very solid. I had the NY Strip — cooked just right. Salad was good, service was good. Just a very good experience. I would recommend the place!

So this place came highly recommended. The craving for some good Italian was said to be met here. Upon parking, there was a neon sign which stated BESTSTEAKSINTHEUNIVERSE. The 2 stars is being generous. I can’t complain about the décor or the service. Let’s talk about the food. I asked my waitress about the veal parm, as I wanted Italian. My waitress didn’t give a glowing endorsement but diverted my attention to their steaks.(Tip, anytime a waiter/waitress diverts your attention AWAY from what you ask about, DON’T order what you’re asking about. They don’t stand by it). She stated, «we’ve been voted best steak on the beach», so I said ok, I’ll spend the coin and get the«cowboy bone in ribeye». What a disappointment. It came with a side of garlic mashed potatoes which were great and a plate of Carmelites onions with garlic & bacon(minced). My bone in ribeye had a pinky nails worth of bone. What the what?!? The steak came out on a sizzling plate and continues to cook on my plate. The steak was tough, flavor was OK but, I can get the same quality from Waffle House. Not what I expected. My wife & sister in law had the buffet. Yes, there’s a buffet but not the Golden Corral style. More cafeteria style. The food there although many option was basic cafeteria flavor at best. The stuffed shells & other pasta had NOFLAVOR. You’d get better pasta from a microwaveable from stouffers dinner to be honest. The search for NY authentic Italian continues. This wasn’t it. Sorry.

Steak served with a side of spaghetti? I imagine Heaven will be a little bit like this :) The steak is PERFECTLY cooked. YUM! I go here every time I am at the beach and you should too. Get there early for a table or sit at the bar for fast service.

From the salad and garlic rolls to the 10 ounce ribeye steak, one word. Amazing! Melt In your mouth and full of flavor! Added blue cheese garlic butter and oh my! The service was excellent. In and out in 50 minutes! Probably the best steak I’ve ever eaten and I’m picky!

Fabulous steaks and Pasta. I had concerns ordering steak at an Italian restaurant but was very pleasantly surprised with the quality. I highly recommend any of the steaks. 22 ounce porterhouse was $ 28 comes with mashed potatoes garlic mashed which were very very good. Meals come with fresh salad and garlic bread. Service was good. Staff was friendly. If you’re looking for a place to eat I can highly recommend this place Angelo’s steak and pasta.

Had the Buffet. It was good. Worth a try if you like Italian. The salad and bread were really good. Was $ 30 for two people with drinks, but we got the early bird price(before 6). The menu clearly lists what is on the buffet, so it doesn’t make sense for the people that said that there weren’t many options. I had spaghetti, stuffed shells, ravioli, and lasagna. They also had pizza, a few other pastas, Italian sausage, meatballs, and there were a couple of bonus dishes that weren’t listed in the menu. I guess they change those daily so it’s hard to tell what they might be. Ours was a chicken dish and steak potatoes. They make your plate for you, it’s not like a traditional buffet.

We have gone to this restaurant on the last three visits to Myrtle Beach. We LOVE this place IF we get there before 5PM. It gets busy for a reason and that is because they have great food. I love the way they do their buffet, someone behind a glass panel puts the food you select on a plate and then hands it to you. Very sanitary and clean place. Buffet food is prepared in small batches and fresh. Great Food – On our third visit we ordered a steak and it indeed was superb. When we return to Myrtle we will find our way there(early) and try other things on the menu. As we walk around the dining room we see fantastic food and happy people. If we lived in Myrtle Beach which some day we might we would visit this place regularly.

My boyfriend and I came to Myrtle Beach for our one year anniversary. We found this place on Unilocal so decided to try it because we saw good reviews. We both love steak and pasta so why not. We came and it was packed and busy on a Saturday night. Typical. We waited about 20 minutes which wasn’t so bad. They gave us a bowl of salad like Olive Garden and garlic bread rolls to start with. We saw on the menu all you can eat pasta. That’s what we decided to go with. It was $ 11.99 or around there. So why not. It was not what we expected. It was like going through a lunch line… You chose and the people behind the glass would put it on the plate for you. We had about 3 plates and couldn’t eat anymore because we got full quickly. There wasn’t much variety. After the 2nd plate, there wasn’t anything to eat. It took forever to get our check and get it returned. While we were waiting we saw steak come out. It was huge and smelled amazing! I think if we come next time and decide on this place again– we’d go with steak.

Do NOT enter if you’re vegan. The pasta with marinara sauce is not ok. The sauce had to be one of the worst I’ve tasted, and I expected better from a place with good reviews and a long waiting list. Also the green beans are cooked with butter and bacon. Three stars because the service was quick and my non vegan non vegetarian family seemed to like their buffet food. This dinner on my first day in Myrtle Beach left a bad taste in my mouth.

Stopped in last minute with my Dad for dinner on a Sunday. There was a pretty long line for a table so we grabbed seats at the bar. The bartender was a bit busy so service was slower at first but after our dinner order he was really attentive. The food was pretty good, I’m a carb fan but the bread wasn’t too impressive. However the rest of the meal was great! Seriously, save room for desert, there’s an extensive menu and you can’t go wrong! We chatted with the manager at one point and he told us Saturday and Sunday are actually slower days because of tourist turnover. The wait is definitely worth it in my opinion!

We initially chose to eat here because of the table side magician. However, we didn’t even see him, but that’s perfectly fine! We pulled up and almost left because by the number of people outside, we knew the wait was going to be long! We were quoted 45 minutes, but the lady said it would be 45 minutes or less for our party of 4. We waited maybe a total of 20 minutes. We were seated and salads and bread came out the first time our server stopped by. That really keeps the kids entertained while we decide on food and get drinks. My son said he loved the garlic on the bread, and I think he ate 3 pieces. We were offered and ordered the special appetizer of coconut shrimp. Those were delicious! Hubs and I both ordered steaks, both cooked perfectly, and definitely no need for sauces! Son 2 had the buffet because he was free, and we weren’t disappointed. It’s clean, served by kitchen staff to your plate, and he loved it! This place is a little pricy, but for the quality of food, it was completely worth it. Our server was kind and made conversation instead of just the normal server talk. He even held conversations with our 4 year old, which we know is difficult sometimes ;) Great place!

Really yummy. Italian buffet, steak, salad and rolls with each meal. Could you really ask for anything more? Service was great. Food was great. Our bill was also ok considering we had three on it. Some in our party even ordered dessert and they thought it was wonderful as well. Great atmosphere.

Just had dinner there on June 92015. Only waited for 5 minutes around 6:00 pm on a Tuesday night. That is not too bad since they don’t take reservation in the summer time. Waitress was great, serve you salad and rolls right away. Ordered an appetizer(mussels in garlic sauce), reason I didn’t give an extra star… It was really bad, frozen mussel drizzled with chopped garlic that I think it came from Costco(the minced garlic). I was expecting that in all the Italian restaurants I ever went to always have fresh live mussels tossed in garlic and butter sauce. You know the black ones, but these were clearly frozen on the half shell ones from the frozen Kroger section. So long story short, don’t order this at all. If you don’t make it right, don’t it on the menu. Now the positives. My 10 oz rib eye was cooked perfectly medium rare. It was served on a sizzling platter. The platter will cook it more so don’t order a medium well or well done. It will be burnt unless you like that. My wife ordered chicken parm and my son had the child buffet. They all enjoyed the food. We will be back but will skip the garlic mussels. Mike C…

They say they have the best steaks in the universe. Being an avid Kitchen Nightmares viewer, I was weary of such a grand statement. Go figures. I had one of the best steaks of my life here. On a night where three hours to our hotel made us not want to drive for the rest of the Bikefest weekend, Angelo’s was the only Italian or buffet place within walking distance of our resort. We certainly lucked out. Typical salad and garlic rolls to start out the meal. Then we got the 8oz sirloin and added on the buffet option for only $ 7 more. Insanely good deal. The steak came out perfect. Medium-rare and seasoned beautifully. No need to add any more salt or pepper. The buffet is really a «Italy’s greatest hits» collection. Spaghetti, meatballs, sausage, lasagna, stuffed shells, pizza. The cheese tortellini was absolutely dynamite and should be made the new liquid gold. However, I wouldn’t go here just for the Italian buffet, but the steak and buffet combination is totally worth it.

Hmmmm. Not really sure how I felt about this place. The buffet is mediocre and wasn’t really all the hype. One vegetable and about 10(I’m not exaggerating ppl) other Italian things on the quasi-buffet. Now the steak — while a bit pricey was great. I probably won’t visit again; there are much better places to each at the beach. Ijs.

Came here for the early bird buffet. For 10.99 it was great. You get free salad and bread along with the buffet that included pizza lasagna ravioli stuffed shells and more. It was pretty busy, so I would expect that any night you go(every time I drove past on my stay it was busy). Overall a great Italian buffet. The food wasn’t spectacular but it was very good Italian. Would go back and would probably try a steak!
