So Damn Good! Went there with the family for the lunch buffet while on vacation. The Naan is made fresh, even if your there for the buffet. So soft and fluffy! the butter chicken was the best we’ve had in a long time outside of India. The vegetarian options were good too. My mom typically doesn’t like eating out at Indian restaurants, but she loved the food too! Definitely plan to be back before we go home!

Didn’t like the food, it was extra bland, not cooked well, we reached 30 minutes before close, lunch buffet was enoty, they didn’t refill. Took forever to get us the bread basket and the drinks we ordered. Restaurant layout and décor was unimpressive, broken vents, and the serving spoons looked gross. Sorry to be so harsh but didn’t have an experience at all. Leave alone bad experience. Never going back there again.

Awesome food. They served food to us(group of 4 and a baby) and many other late comers even after they were closed for the day. They kept a buffet as the option for Al a Carte was not available after the closing time. Only two cooks stayed till late. One of the servers had to call her daughter to help her serve the late crowd. One of the owners named Ritu took extra care going to every table that everyone is eating fine. Thus, they managed things well and everybody seemed happy. Hospitality touched us. Must visit when you are at the beach specially on a long weekend and you are late enough to find a good place to eat.

Made mainly for American taste buds… Worth for them to add some spice because the American taste buds already know that indian food is spicy and they come for that… it doesn’t have to be a spice scale of 5 out of 5, but at least 3 and they have it as 1… but still if u are craving for indian food in a beach town, it’s good… Nothing to brag or complain… in another words, it’s a so so

Great buffet. Clean and pleasant interior. The parking lot looks fine, so the other bad reviews don’t seem to be that relevant. Food is labeled and it was delicious. Great random find

Really don’t know about taste, but the service for take away is REALLYREALLYBAD. Waited for 30 mins extra for take away. The food was tasty. Roti wasn’t good enough. But the veg sizzles item was good. Chicken Hariyali wasn’t so good . Maybe real hariyali(green vegitables paste) would have been better than just added color. Paneer, aloo Gobi n dal was good too . Overall taste is good. But please respect the time given to the customer.

Visited this place during our recent trip to Myrtle Beach. The first day we went there, it was almost closing time, so the owner did not accept us :( We went there the next day. We had the lunch buffet. The food was great, esp the tava chat was amazing.

Having lived in Bombay, now Mumbai, my wife, who is mixed Indian, can attest the food is authentic Indian cuisine. The lunch buffet is why we often visit for a variety of our favorites. We highly recommend this restaurant despite it’s outward appearance.

Amazing food, authentic, fresh, super tasty and the service is grand. It’s a classic case of don’t judge a book by its cover. Loved the place, one of the best restaurants in Myrtle Beach.

Consistently good food, good service, good location. This is one of the best local, independent restaurants on the Grand Strand. Eat here for lunch.

Missed the Lunch Buffet but did order off the menu. Good green mint chutney. Naan was pretty decent too. Cloth napkins and table cloth a big PLUS. Service was prompt and adequate. Food had good flavor. Lamb dishes plentiful. Sides could have been better. The Meat Sampler Platter for about $ 15 was worth it. SaleebScore: Service 8⁄10; Food 8.5÷10; Value 7⁄10; Location 8⁄10; Ambiance 7⁄10

Great little lunch buffet for anyone craving something different. Have never ordered items from the menu, but maybe soon I’ll order some to takeout. Location is right in the middle of downtown. Parking was easy as it wasn’t very busy, but, like other reviewers have said, it needs a little work. We were greeted with a smile when we walked through the door, and the smells were very delicious and inviting. It was a little dark inside. Lights were low. And it was overcast outside so not much light coming through the windows. It seemed as though the owner was in there handling things for the day and waiting on us. As soon as we sat down, he asked if we wanted«regular bread or garlic bread» and I told him garlic naan would be great, and it was delicious and fresh. We just ordered a water to drink, since it’s what we normally get, it’s quick, and budget friendly for us this time of year. If we go back I will definitely try the mango lassi, which seems pretty popular. There were about 7 or 8 offerings at the buffet. First up was veg pakora. It had a great flavor, even hubby liked them. Have a feeling these fritters would be better fresh, though, like all things fried. Next was«chicken chop» which seems like their signature chef specialty. Anyway, it was fall off the bone tender with lots of seasoning and flavor. Then the basmati rice, which hubby piled on. He’s a big rice fan. Tadka dal was next. There wasn’t a whole lot of it left, but what I had was delicious. Veg korma was one of my favorites! Also, indian saag is the only cooked spinach I have ever been able to eat. Loved this one, as it had both paneer cheese and Chana(chickpeas). No chicken biryani, which I know is more popular for American diets. They had veg biryani instead, which as someone who was vegetarian for two years and still takes it easy on meat, was a very nice touch. There were other ways to get plenty of chicken in this meal! The next dishes were a chicken curry and a butter chicken. I got a piece of each to try. The chicken in the curry was a little fatty, but the sauce was good. The butter chicken was yummy. We didn’t have a whole lot of room for dessert, but I still wanted to try the one dessert option available, the gulab jamun. It was a little roll soaked in a syrup or honey. I am not a regular diner of Indian food, so I can’t compare this to much else, but it served our appetites well for something different. It seemed as though the food is fresh each day cuz we could see employees from the kitchen come out to have what was left as we were leaving. I imagine the food would be fresher if we were there right when they open, but we know when we can’t get there til later, food that’s been out for a while is what we will see and experience, and that’s fine for us with our time limits. The price must have been reduced since other reviewers have had the lunch buffet. We paid 7.99 each. We were the only ones in there when we first got there, but that doesn’t mean much as it was a dark overcast day in the middle of the off-season, not particularly near any offices where employees would run next-door for a quick lunch. As we were dining, One gentleman stopped in to pick up an order he had called in for. As we were finishing, as they were getting ready to close up for their lunch shift, a couple walked in that wanted to order and not eat the buffet. The owner happily let them order their food to go. He also offered them a few items off of the buffet to nibble on while they waited for their food to cook, which I thought was a really nice gesture. We will definitely go back and enjoy the lunch buffet again. I would like to see some different things on there the next time we go. I wonder if they always use the same thing, or if they change it up from time to time. and as I said before I might also order some takeout to take home one day after work.

Not sure how we found this place but we crave their food every so often. The place don’t look like much inside or out. Does need a few upgrades. However, their food is always on point and keeps us coming back. It is kid friendly but does not provide much seating. Try to make it there in an off season and off peak hours or the min they open. In short, good food!

OK, so I’m that girl that always has to check out an Indian restaurant when I travel. This time I was in Myrtle Beach on business and after reading the reviews, I thought I should stay away but didn’t. The other resto(Masala Zone) had better reviews but they only offered buffet lunch, so by process of elimination, I came here since I could order off their menu(I loathe buffets, they are usually disgusting and made to the average non-Indian person’s liking… aka not spicy enough for me!). The food was actually good. The parking lot needed a MAJORRENO just like all the other reviews point out. The staff is super friendly which is always a plus. I got my standard shrimp curry, extra crazy Indian spicy with garlic naan, rice and a cup of masala tea. The curry was mild, I was disappointed, however it was delicious. When they asked how it was, I was honest and they immediately rushed it back to the kitchen and made it spicier. I always appreciate the attentiveness. I do have to say though –the food was delicious, to my surprise. Now, PLEASE fix your parking lot. I even told the guy they should and he said«its OK for now»…typical cheapo Indian response. LOL

Excellent lunch buffet. While the place looks run down from the outside and the parking lot looks like that of an abandoned restaurant, check it out anyway. All the dishes were very flavorful — several with a hint of spiciness. Especially thought the corn palak was tasty. Buffet layout is easy to access — very professional. Garlic naan came out to order piping hot. This would be a regular spot for me if Ilved here.
