Good atmosphere but for some reason the piano players didn’t know Thunder Road, which is inexcusable since it’s the greatest piano led song of all time. Bruce for life!

Really liked the scene here. Insider tip — get there right at 7 on a Saturday or you are NOT getting a seat. We arrived at 7:45 and got some of the last seats available. The bartender upstairs was really nice and a great mixologist.

My husband and I went here last night and it was awesome! There were 4 piano players that tag teamed 2 at a time. And sometimes all 4 were involved with added drums. I was in awe and very surprised with how talented they were. They sounded great! They were funny and the crowd was involved the entire time until 1am when it started to wind down. We got there around 10pm so I don’t know how their food is and we drank beer and angry orchard cider so can’t comment on their mixed drinks either. The beer and cider was $ 8 which was reasonable. We are in our 40’s and the crowd was mixed with both older and younger people. I would say this was our best date night in awhile. Crowd was just rowdy enough but not too rowdy. And the entertainment was top notch. They played lots of 80s and 90s requests and they sounded awesome!

I love duelling piano bars, this is by far the least fun one ive ever been to. First the seating is long picnic tables so it feels like a field trip instead of club. Second, the pianists had real trouble reading the crowd and keeping the energy high. Lots of droning old 70s rock songs were lulling the crowd to sleep. What really made the experience horrible though were the guests. The establishment has a mirror where people pay the artists to write things they will shout out during the songs. While i chuckled during the«jets suck!» Portion of this bit, i did not need to hear«hillary sucks!» Followed by «impeach obama now!» For two hours.(Which doesn’t remove a president from office but the WV and Ohio crowd sure seemed to think it would). By 10:30 a crowd of all white men and their annihilated wives were already going off on a racist and conservative vein that had no place in a family friendly area like boardwalk at the beach. As other reviewers have said, the misogynistic singing commentary by the artists was both stomach-turning and unfunny. I left, but not before being reminded of the worst south carolina’s tourists have to offer.

Great music, and drinks! There is a bar downstairs, as well as upstairs, which was convenient. You must be 21+ to get in, so don’t forget the I.D. There is also a 5 $ cover, but completely worth it! I’d suggest getting there before 9pm, anytime after that it gets pretty busy, and you most likely won’t have a seat! As I have read in some reviews people complaining about it not being«family friendly» you must have forgot you need to be 21+ to get in. Which would mean it isn’t a family friendly BAR. Go in with an open mind, seeing as some of the 3 words on the board people request to be put up may be offensive to some. So don’t have a stick up your ass, and go for a good time. I’ll be visiting again on my next trip to Myrtle Beach!

Don’t walk… RUN here! We visited on a recent trip at the recommendation of a friend and had a blast! Definitely arrive before 9 as it gets really busy after that. If you arrive between 7 – 8 you can pretty much have your pick of seats and not have to pay the $ 5 cover. Make sure you bring some $ 5’s for song requests and if you tip more, you’ll likely hear your song quicker. We had heard some other complaints about watered down drinks so we mainly stuck to wine and that worked out well. There was a great crowd the night we went and the pianists were fantastic about getting everyone engaged! They were all great musicians and entertainers! I would absolutely visit here again on my next trip!

One of the best bar experiences I have ever had. Every single member of the staff was friendly. We had no trouble getting service at any time of the night. The performers were in tune with the audience and interactive, to the point where it was memorable to us. I honestly would recommend this place for anyone looking for entertainment in Myrtle Beach, especially fun nightlife.

So it’s kind of cool, do lots of requests but you do HAVE to tip with your requests… Good for them I guess.

Love love love!!! Such a great time! Bringing my parents here next time! The pianists were amazing and really kept the crowd going! We stayed for almost 4 hours just singing and dancing along! Cannot wait to go back!

We had a great time at the piano bar! The musicians were fantastic and kept the great songs flowing. It can get a little bit raunchy at times but not the worst I’ve seen at piano bars. Also side tip I didn’t see anyone post on here: Locals with ID get in for FREE at any time. No cover. Otherwise the cover is 10 $.

Great times are ahead if you venture to Crocodile Rocks! The pianists were great. The two openers we had were awesome then they traded on and off with two other band members throughout the night. Great humor and good music be sure to bring cash to request songs etc! Fun times with average prices.

We checked this place out due to great reviews. We probably won’t go back. The review that mentioned the degrading comments, gestures and jokes toward women was right on. They would shout out to different tables full of women that they were«hot» or «sexy bi%@!es» or that they saw a lot of «hoes» in the audience. So, those sesitive to that sort of thing should stay away. Two of the four players were the culprits. There were four pianists that would team tag the entertainment throughout the night. They did a nice ensemble with piano, keyboard and drums for certain songs. They were definitely talented, and a couple more than the other two. We enjoyed the guy that was able to pull of old school rap songs and the Dr. Seus rap of Green Eggs and Ham. They played a lot of oldies and the crowd was mixed with 50⁄50 more mature audience(50−60yrs old) and 21−35yr olds It was nice that there was second floor seating to be able to watch the entertainment, but there was no dance floor and the setup was a little awkward compared to other piano bars I’ve been to. You have to get there between 7&8 to not have to pay the $ 10 cover. Bars were located upstairs and down stairs, which was convenient. Drinks were cheap, and I have to wonder if there was any alcohol in the jello shots… certainly didn’t seem like it. But after two beers, 5 jello shots and two rum & cokes our bar tab was less than $ 40.

Crocodile Rocks is probably the best, or one of the best piano bars I have ever been to. My party of 5 made a reservation a couple days in advance. The reservation requires $ 10 per person and for you to show up before 8pm. The rules sound crazy, but the place was packed by 9pm-10pm. The food here is pretty good, but it’s mostly a bar; although any food taste good after drinking from a fishbowl drink. Although this is a great place to have fun, the service can be slow. There were easily 150 people in this bar and they only had 3 servers. The people playing the piano also talked about«tipping» a lot which can get a bit tacky. Some of their jokes are also incredibly offensive and degrading to women. Besides those things, it’s a fun time all around.

I came here with my mom and sister last Saturday night while on vacation. I called Saturday morning around noon, and was told that we were able to make a reservation, and as long as we were there by 8, it would only be $ 10 each instead of $ 20! We booked our reservation, and upon arrival, we were seated right by the stage! My mom was thrilled. The acts consisted of two sets of piano players, who were all equally talented. There was also a board that for the right price, could display any message you want. The price only went up though, so if seeing the words«Ohio State Rocks!» bums you out, you have to pony up the cash to change it. I put in 4 songs, and they did all but one request. I was impressed with the variety and style of songs they covered. My only gripe: the fishbowl drink was almost all fruit juice; if you’re gonna charge $ 15.95, throw some rum in there! I’d definitely go back.

My wife and I stopped in to Crocodile Rocks to have a drink and listen to some live music. The dueling pianos sound great and the piano players are a blast. The music is loud, but not too loud and the crowd is fun. The music tends to be a little older from the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s, but you can request just about anything. What was really nice is that the place is smoke free. We liked the place so much that we stopped by twice on our trip. Monday was a little more quiet than Thursday, but both nights were fun. Give it a try.

This is a cool bar, with dueling pianos. The layout of the place is really nice. There is an upstairs area with a great view of the place. They play some decent songs… But they were too chicken sh#t to play my request. If I ever go there again, I will not waste my money putting in a request. Because the fat, pansy, bastard pianists don’t know how to play Jimmy Hendrix. In all it was a cool bar, I just wouldn’t waste my money requesting something, because they pick and choose what they want to play anyway…

The musicians are extremely talented and are able to play piano, drum, and sing and other instruments. Just a side note, the crowd is geared towards older generation and you will rarely see any 20 year olds, except for us, everyone was in their 30s, 40s or 50s. Therefore, they play alot of music in the 70s, 80s, and some in the 90s. IF you are a hot girl bringing up the napkin request with money, the guys will at least try to google the lyrics and sing it, which is pretty adorable because they have a good sense of humor. They will also give you a shout out if it is your birthday, have you go up the stage and perhaps embarrass you a little all in good humor. Though I didn’t know most of the songs played(mostly country music), I had an amazing time just seeing how talented the musicians are and how everyone was so involved and would dance to the music and cheer and laugh. It was a good time.

If you’re within 50 miles, you HAVE to go here. It’s fun, adult sing-along songs. They mostly play songs from the 80s but with a $ 4 or $ 5 request, they’ll play just about anything you want them to. VERYVERYFUN– for the whole(21 and over) family. And we get a locals discount– so that’s always nice!

What a great place. We made reservations for Saturday night and were seated right in front which was great. Our server was very nice and bubbly, we started with these big drinks that were good but not strong(I believe they were called Malibu breeze) This has been my second time going to a dueling piano bar and this one was great. They do a great job entertaining everyone and they are hilarious. They strongly encourage a $ 5 tip in order for them to play your song. Our group of 11 had a great time and I was sad we had to leave early since some people wanted to watch the boxing fight at another bar. Make sure you come early and if possible have reservations since it gets really crowed and you will be standing.

The first time I came to Crocodile rocks I had no idea what to expect but I’m glad I went. You definitely will not forget the nigh! 2 great dueler’s that play your songs all night long, from the Fresh Prince Theme Song or Journey, it is always a great time with friends. This is a regular now any time I come down to Myrtle beach :) and it should be for you too. And if you’re lucky you might see the violin get played!
