Fox’s Pizza Den of Socastee

We ordered food from here yesterday and it was very good. We had pizza, cheese bread sticks, and chicken wings. Everyone was very helpful.

Had it delivered. The one bright point… they said 45 minutes… they literally showed up in under 20 minutes. (not a good thing, though if you were planning on not being there for 45 minutes). When we got it, guy literally almost threw it at us he was so much in a hurry. No time to even check it. First, we ordered boneless wings, we got regular wings. Not a problem. We were in the mood for boneless, but we like regular, too. We each had 1 ½ and threw the rest out. Not a fan of breaded wings when they’re not boneless. Flavor of sauce on wings was marginal. Not bad, but not memorable. But it was the breading and texture that was the real disappointment. Pizza was an even bigger disappointment. We were looking for a good pizza reminiscent of the pizzas back home. What we got was a pizza that was somewhere in-​between the quality of frozen pizza and Dominos. Again, we only had 1 piece each and the rest went in the trash. We gave up and went out for something to eat. Advice? Stick to the local Italian joints, for good pizza!

Pizza is excellent. Everything else on the menu is delicious as well. Can’t go wrong with a wedgie (their signature sandwich) or their wings. Service is fast, always on time, and the food is always hot, whether dining in, carrying out, or delivering.

My mom lives in the area and had a coupon for a Big Daddy pizza. This sucker was HUGE. Loads of leftovers if you get this one. It was a thicker crust but had tons of toppings and cheese. Gal was nice when I came in and pizza was ready when they said it would be. We would return.

The pizza here was delicious. Was definitely what I was looking for. Was also very quick service :)
