On vacation stopped in to get my haircut… I sit down in the guys chair and he doesn’t use scissors so I had the woman cut my woman who was nice and friendly and she did a good job on the hair cut! Plus was a cheap price $ 13

The woman barber cut my hair, and maybe that’s the problem, if I go by another review here. Nobody told me that the woman only does women’s hair. In any case, I gave her three cuts to get it right, and my hair still wasn’t blended well. The worst cut(a partial«chop job») was right after I said I go to the beach 5 days a week after being«land locked» for 16 years in another state. I mistook her reaction to be one of amazement, when it might have been simple resentment. It’s too bad, because I go to the beach in my regular clothes, only stay a half an hour at the most, and then I have to get back to doing elder care and a bunch of other obligations. I wish her well, but I suspect she is a little too quick to negatively judge other people. She’s definitely not the worst barber I’ve ever had, but my advice is don’t talk about your personal life to her. You never know how she’s going to take it.

I hate going to the chain haircut places you find in the malls, where they charge over $ 15 for a men’s haircut. I prefer to find a small local barber, and this place fits the bill perfectly. There is actually two parts to this place. There is a guy there for cuts mens hair, and woman who handles women’s hair. The man was very friendly and gave me a great cut. The haircut ended up costing me $ 12 before tip, so the price was right. I highly recommend coming here if you want to support the independent barber and not the corporate mall monsters.
