Tanger Outlets – Myrtle Beach

I’m writing 4, as I would rather put 1 for the customer service and 5 for the outlet itself. As a loyal Tanger Outlet shopper all over, I was very disturbed by the customer service lady today. I didn’t realize coupon books were available so I went to inquire and was met with a weird attitude as if I didn’t know what I was doing looking for one and since my last name couldn’t be found. I was offered no way to sign up for a ranger membership either. She then just said ok, sorry at the end and in a «I’m trying to be peppy but I hate my job» voice the whole time. She needs further training on getting people signed up for the membership, especially those who spends lots at Tanger. Still a loyal tanger customer!

We go here every year and some years its great. It was so so this time. We got the coupon book which we didn’t use at all. The vitamin world which I always visit because there is no longer one close to my home, did not have a single bottle of what I went there for. The guy said none in the back, none on the shelf. I had a 10% off coupon, if they had any of what I went there for.
Most of the coupons you get something off if you spend $ 85 or so. I didn’t see anything much to buy.
I usually spend a lot of time in the Clark’s outlet. The clearance like previous times had the sizes so weirdly mixed it was hard to look through. If they would just put all the sizes together it would helpful. I have complained before and its the following year, same problem. I wear a 6 wide, and having to look through shelves and shelves to isolate the wides is a pain. Can you just put them all together, then it would take me 5 minutes to try on the 3 or 4 pairs you have, instead of having to search through shelf after shelf.
I like Vanity Fair clearance outline and I did buy two tops there for very little. I can usually find pants and all sorts of tops at great prices. I must have tried on 15 tops and only found 2 that looked good after trying on. They had no pants for women in my size. They did have some men;s pants at a great price, but did not have my husband’s size on hand.
I went to both outlets with lots of money and spent almost nothing, $ 5 at one place, less than $ 15 at another.

Good place for bargains on name brand merchandise. Almost everyone qualifies for some discount on already reduced prices.

Had a great experience at this Tanger and spent a lot of money. I do wish that they had an automatic way of capturing receipts. However, we really appreciated the free stroller upon arrival and the gifts that we received after having our receipts manually entered.

While there are maps of the stores it would be useful if there were a guest relations person walking around instead of having to find the Customer service office that is always in a different place and wasting time.

Both locations have lots to choose from. If you’re in town on a holiday weekend especially, you should check out the outlets. Most stores have great deals

In past years stores like cole Haan and saks kept me coming back. I was disappointed with the selection of retailers. Lacked appeal

Had a good time there but beware of the vending machines. They will take your money and give you nothing back. I called the phone number on the machine and still haven’t received my refund of $ 2.

I shop here often as it is close to where I live. I always find something here. The staff in the Bass store is always friendly and helpful. I like the Columbia store as well. Too bad they took out Rocky Mountain chocolate factory. I loved that place!

Very nice as far as outlet malls go. Clean, very few empty stores, people who wanted to help you, free coupons if you qualify under like 10 different designations. Unfortunately there were no coupons for the 2 places we shopped, Nike and Forever 21. The time of super low outlet prices are mostly past, as many retailers create merchandise just for the outlets. However if you stack clearance with coupons you can clean up.

I love this outlet, I live in the area and I know for sure this is the best place to shopping. Very well renewed, clean bathroom and excellent deal, don’t forget a discount book

I didn’t see anything in this piece FYI from NYC lol. Had a couple things but nothing that caught my eye

Much more regular mall prices than at other locations. I expect this each time I’m at one of these «outlet «malls. Sometimes you may find a deal. Sometimes just expensive merchandise like everywhere else. We were hoping to find a few back to school items, but it wasn’t really worth it.
I did, however hope to find a pair of Coach sunglasses cheap, and I did. A nice luxury item treat.
Don’t expect much, maybe you’ll get lucky.

Shopping while on vacation was always a must! Our family loves going to the outlets and the tanger outlets on 501 had everything we’d want to shop in! Great location, easy access to main route! Wish they had a few other popular stores to shop at!

During our last day in MB we decided to do a little shopping. Actually we didnt plan to shop much, mainly wanted to go to the Nike store. However, to our surprise we wind up buying a lot of stuff from various stores for really good deals. I’m glad we decided to go because of the good deals we got. Wear your walking shoes.

Typical outlet/​strip mall. Very clean. Looks to be fairly new. If it was raining you will get wet crossing the streets to go to other stores, no covered walks over the roads. This seems to be the trend with Tanger Outlets.

I have never been to the other outlets here in Myrtle except for these and every time I am pleased! They offer a great selection of coupons and stores to shop at. Some of their sales are good, others are okay. There is plenty of parking, but not much of a food selection except for Auntie Anne’s. All in all its an outlet mall and you either like them or you don’t.

I only give this location a 4 star because the bathrooms are so nasty. There was poop in just about every stall and you could smell it before you even got into the bathroom. Other than that it is a great place to shop. They have everything clothing wise. You can catch some good deals, but i do not see why it is considered an outlet. Prices are pretty much the same.

This is my least favorite of the 2 Tanger Outlets in Myrtle Beach. I seem to find the best shopping deals @ Coastal Grand Mall. The Tanger off Hwy. 17 is a little more dated, but a much better layout.

If I have a few extra dollars (ok, lots of extra dollars), I do enjoy going to Coach at the Tanger Outlet. They sell some outlet quality, and store quality handbags and accessories. The greeter at the door is very kind and guides you to what you might be looking for. They have a clearance section in the right rear. Several associates roam the store looking forward to assisting you.
The cashiers will even wrap your purchases, so when you go home, you feel as if you were opening a present. Sometimes you have to wait on line. If you hold onto your receipt, they give no fuss returns. I just love this store.
