Tan World

If you go to the Tan World web site, you will see the highest-​end tanning beds you have ever seen. And then you pull up to this Tan World location and you suddenly feel as if someone has pulled the ultimate scam on you. This place looks NOTHING like the Tan World web site. This place has really, really old tanning beds (not the souped-​up ones on their web site), and the owner wasn’t friendly. I asked her what kind of bulbs were in the beds and she got all flustered and then pissed off that I even asked her the question. Turns out she didn’t know her shit so that’s why she got flustered. This place is way expensive for what you get. What’s really tacky is she has all these little notes to herself at the front desk (that are visible to customers) like, «Don’t forget to upsell packages» and «Remember to book next appointment.» Whatever… Find another tanning salon in the area with a friendlier staff, nicer beds, and lower prices.
